Last week, it was reported that due to Windows 10 version 1809 being pulled from Windows Update, devices are being shipped with unsupported and untested software. At the time, the Windows 10 processor requirements showed that Windows 10 version 1809 is the only one that supports Intel's ninth-generation Core processors and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 850.
Now, the specs have been updated to show that Windows 10 version 1803, or the April 2018 Update, supports the Snapdragon 850. It still doesn't show support for Intel's new ninth-gen processors.
To be clear, nothing changed in Windows 10 version 1803 since four days ago when the original report was published. There haven't been any updates pushed, and this is simply a change to the specs.
The Windows 10 October 2018 Update is still missing in action, after being pulled from Windows Update well over a month ago. Microsoft hasn't said anything about it in over a month either, not even providing so much as a status update. Tomorrow is Patch Tuesday, so it seems likely that it may be re-released, but when we asked for comment, the firm had nothing to share.
