Chuwi's upcoming UBook borrows elements from HP's Spectre x2 and Microsoft's Surface Go

For the past couple of years, Chuwi has released numerous computing products, with designs that are borrowed from the likes of Apple, Microsoft, and more. So it comes as no surprise that its upcoming UBook, also does the same.

The tablet with kickstand takes inspiration in its design from HP's Spectre x2. The reason why Chuwi decided on using something similar to HP's design is that apparently, the hinge offers better support when compared to Microsoft's Surface design.

As for power, the unit will make use of an Intel Core m3 2.20Ghz processor, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and will come with either 128GB and 1TB of internal storage. It will have an 11.6-inch 1080p IPS display and will offer a variety of ports that include: two USB 3.0 ports, USB Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, power port, and Micro HDMI.

Chuwi states that despite its slim profile coming in at 9mm, the device should be able to provide up to 9.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. Those looking to take advantage of the UBook as a productivity machine will be happy to know it will offer support for a keyboard and stylus.

Like many of Chuwi's previous products, the UBook will make its debut on Kickstarter, with a package price of $349.99 being comprised of the unit itself, keyboard, and stylus. You can hit the link in the source below to stay informed of the campaign when it goes live in 15 days.
