so i have a Ubiquiti USG and 2 AC APLR

 

I want to setup an IoT Wifi Network that all my IoT devices can live on

 

So am i right in saying i need to use a VLAN for this?

 

I am not sure how it works but this was my thinking

 

Site IP Range 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.1.255

 

Have all my normal network stuff on 192.168.0.0/24

 

and the IOT on 192.168.1.0/24

 

 

I would create a new network and assign it a VLAN ID

 

and create a new wifi network and give it the same VLAN ID

 

so first of all before i start isolating the two vlans would this work?

yes this would be done with vlans..
