Rare's next game is another new IP, Everwild

During the Inside Xbox stream at X019 today, Rare unveiled the next game that will be coming out of its coffers as the opening act, Everwild. See the announcement trailer above.

Another brand new IP just like its previous title Sea of Thieves from 2018, Everwild looks to be an adventure game that can be played in co-op, featuring very colorful environments and some creative wildlife.

Other than the tagline, "Unique and unforgettable experiences await in a natural and magical world.", almost no other information was revealed today about this mysterious title. This also means a release date or even a window was absent.

Of course, the developer affirmed that Sea of Thieves isn't being put on the backburner, with a separate dedicated team led by Rare veteran Louise O’Connor taking care of Everwild, helping both games co-exist and get continuous development time.

Everwild is heading to Windows 10, Xbox One, as well as Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC.
