Google adds 10 more games to launch day line-up for Stadia

Last month, Google announced that Stadia would be available to consumers on November 19. A mere few days after that announcement, the game streaming service's Founder's Edition was completely sold out. Fast forward to last week, the Mountain View firm unveiled the launch day line-up for Stadia, with a grand total of 12 games being ready to play on day one. Later in the same week, it was also revealed that many Stadia features won't be available immediately when it launches, news that may have been considered off-putting by potential users.

Now, however, in what looks to be an effort to make amends, Google has announced 10 more launch day titles for the game streaming service, bringing the total number up to 22. This news comes in less than a couple of days before Stadia is set to launch.

With this announcement, Google has almost doubled its line-up of launch day titles. Notably, all of the newly revealed titles were previously announced to be released on Stadia before the end of the year either way. It's just that now users won't have to wait for potentially more than a month before they become available, and can instead dive in right away.

However, as aforementioned, there is still the fact that some major capabilities in Stadia won't initially be available, including Stream Connect, State Share, Crowd Play, and more. Among the aforementioned three, Stream Connect expected to be available by the end of the year, though to experience the latter two, consumers will have to wait until 2020. Google has previously noted, however, that it plans to expand the set of features offered by its game streaming service on a weekly basis.
