Mozilla introduced the Firefox Reality browser over a year ago, promising a web browsing experience built from the ground up for virtual reality. The browser aims to make content discovery easier in VR, which it does through its homepage that presents trending VR content from. Today, Mozilla is introducing a new feature that should make this discoverability even better - support for sending tabs.
Send Tabs is a feature that's been around for some time on Firefox, and with support for Firefox Reality, it should make it easier to enjoy VR content you may find on a different device. If you see something you like on your phone or computer, you can send that tab to your VR headset and pick up the experience easily from there.
In addition to sending tabs across devices, the latest update to Firefox Reality has a few smaller improvements. You can now copy and paste text and links by pressing and holding on what you want to act on. This will bring up a context menu like what you'd get on a smartphone. You can also use a Bluetooth keyboard to type, assuming your headset supports Bluetooth. Finally, there are six new languages and keyboard layouts for Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, and Polish.
The latest update is available for all supported headsets, which include the Oculus Go, Quest, and HTC's Vive family. You can find the full release notes on GitHub.
