Falcon 9: StarLink v1.0 Flight 3

Recommended Posts

We are discussing launching them both on Monday if the IFA schedule needs to slip for any reason. Going to be a hell of a weekend.

Friday: IFA Dry Dress (astronaut practice)

Saturday: IFA Launch

Sunday: Starlink L3 Static Fire

Monday: Starlink L3 Launch

Anything can happen though, schedules will change as needed.

Photo opportunity of them both on the stand? Not sure if that’s possible with the distance?

If they both end up vertical at the same time then there is a pretty good chance someone will grab a picture of it. If the schedules hold though they won't end up being vertical at the same time. IFA launch Saturday morning and Starlink won't roll to the pad until Saturday afternoon.

ah that's a shame. Still an amazingly quick turn around.

According to Spaceflight Now it appears that the date has moved one day.

New date:  January 21 @ 11:59AM EST

So, (assumption), they are leaving a 2-day gap between the abort test and the StarLink flight.
