Since Microsoft officially announced the Xbox Series X, its next-generation console that will supersede the Xbox One X, we've already seen reports of what ports the console will have. Now, though, those ports have been shown off in real-life images posted by Neogaf user CurryPanda (via Brad Sams of Thurrott.com).
The images line up closely with the previous report, with two USB SuperSpeed (presumably 3.0) Type-A ports, an Ethernet port, an optical audio output, an HDMI port, and a wide connector for debugging purposes Over at the front, there's a single USB Type-A port and the disc drive.
A hole atop the back of the console also suggests the cover is removable, but this could be exclusive to internal testing units that might need to be serviced. We also get to see the air intake vents at the bottom of the back panel, a Kensington lock port, and serial codes that were surprisingly uncensored, meaning that Microsoft can find out who was responsible for holding on to this particular unit.
We're still a ways off from the launch of the Xbox Series X, so there's always a chance some elements of the design will change. In the meantime, Microsoft has already confirmed the console won't have any exclusive titles when it launches, meaning that any launch games will also be available on the Xbox One family.
