Brandon H Supervisor Posted January 28, 2020 Supervisor Share Posted January 28, 2020 HP Support page states DDR4-2400 SDRAM https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06191146#AbT6 edit: I've always been partial to G.Skill RAM so I'd recommend the following https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-16gb-260-pin-ddr4-so-dimm/p/N82E16820232155 here's the search results page though if you'd like to choose a different one https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?N=100007609 601204086 601190333 600567142

goretsky Supervisor Posted January 29, 2020 Supervisor Share Posted January 29, 2020 Hello @alesya78, I have removed the third-party link you provided for your Hewlett-Packard ProBook 450 G6 (Model # 5YH15UT#ABA) laptop and replaced it with a link to the manufacturer's actual web page for that model, as that is going to be the best source of information about the computer. Your laptop has a 16GB DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM installed in it from the factory, so you would want to find another one of these to install. Personally, I would suggest Crucial, Samsung, Ramaxel or SK Hynix memory, as these are commonly used by laptop manufacturers. You might wish to open your laptop and see what memory module is currently installed, and get the same model. Regards, Aryeh Goretsky
