Bruinator
Guys, I am setting up a pulley system in my basement so I can use a cable system for weight training. The floor boards are constructed of 2 x 6’s roughly a foot apart. I want to screw in one of these: https://www.amazon.com/16-Eye-Bolt-Stainless-Welded/dp/B00LGYPTI2 And screw it through the 2x6 boards and then hook this pulley to it. https://www.harborfreight.com/4-in-1-12-ton-Capacity-Aluminum-Sheave-Block-With-Hook-63693.html I will put the eye bolt in the middle of the board about 3” centered on the 2x6. The hook is not flush against the 2 sides of the pully. It has about ½ to ¾ inch play on each side. I want to make sure the pulley is flush against the side of the 2x6 to it wont move side to side and back and forth so it will remain in one place without movement. How can I keep the hook itself still along with the pulley. Any help is greatly appreciated.
