Games publisher Devolver Digital is set to kick off its own E3-style presentation on July 11. It has now been confirmed that a new Shadow Warrior game will be shown off during the event, with Flying Wild Hog coming back to develop the new entry. Check out the Shadow Warrior 3 teaser trailer above.
Lo Wang is back as the main protagonist, returning with his iconic humor and wacky one-liners as evident from the trailer. Wielding his usual arsenal of guns, katana, magic, and parkour skills, the "corporate shogun" is embarking on a mission to capture an ancient dragon in the new adventure. This time, however, he is also equipped with a grappling hook for added maneuverability.
"We are beyond excited to bring Shadow Warrior fans a completely fresh experience, and we can’t wait to show off the new features we have in store for them," said game director Kuba Opoń. "We want to make sure that our fast-paced gunplay sequences, razor-sharp melee combat, and spectacular free-running movement, will get their adrenaline pumping and senses thumping."
Devolver says that Shadow Warrior 3 will hit "multiple platforms" in 2021, and a Steam store page already up and running. The full gameplay reveal will happen during the digital Devolver Direct presentation, which kicks off on July 11 at 12PM PT on Twitch.
