Android emulator with neat Windows integration

Is there an Android emulator for Windows that has direct and neat integration with the Windows desktop and taskbar? As in no booting first to the Android OS and no Android home screen/"desktop" from where we launch the app. Instead, we launch the Android app directly from a LNK shortcut pinned to Taskbar, Start menu or Windows desktop and it just runs by starting the emulator and shows only the app, not the Android home screen? Sort of like how Windows Virtual PC/XP Mode did with RemoteApp functionality.
