Thermaltake's 2021 ToughDesk 500L Gaming Desk is here

Thermaltake has announced its 2021 ToughDesk 500L RGB Battlestation gaming desk. From a brief overview, it appears to be a refresh of last year's model with the same name, although the firm may have made some fine-tuning to it.

As the name suggests, the ToughDesk 500L is designed to be tough and claims to sustain weights of up to 330lbs (~150kg), so it could hold up massively built gaming PCs. The desk is built on an anti-scratch steel-constructed frame using high-pressure laminated desktop material. The dimensions of the 500L Gaming Desk can be seen in the image below:

The full surface mouse pad covering the 1.18" (3cm) thick main desk features an illuminated border with your choice from 16.8 million RGB colors, and has several different light modes, including Static, Pulse, Blink, Spectrum Cycling, and Raindrops. They are customizable using Thermaltake's iTAKE software, which is also compatible with Razer's Chroma. The lights can also be synced with other Thermaltake products using the TT RGB Plus app.

The height of the table can be adjusted between 27.5" (70cm) and 43.3" (110cm) using the provided electrical height adjustment buttons.

Cable management is often a challenge in desktop builds and the TT ToughDesk has been provided with plenty of space on the back for that thanks to the "long length cable storage area".

Thermaltake has priced the ToughDesk 500L RGB Battlestation at $1,500 but it is to be expected from a such premium product. If interested, you can purchase the desk from ttpremium here.
