kiddingguy Posted May 7, 2021 Share Posted May 7, 2021 (edited) Today I had reset my PC. I found out that in settings now is a top bar. With different settings, my MS account. But also the "promotion" of Microsoft's Edge as default browser. Why? I would like to get rid of this bar... I didn't had it on my previous Win 10 Pro installation. How can I do this? Some registry setting, a Windows Update that I don't know of, or have not installed yet? Or maybe something else? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also, it's mentioned here https://techdows.com/2020/10/settings-header-in-windows-10.html that "As of now, there is no way to disable this. Microsoft warned not to use third-party tools to enable or disable the new Settings UI when the feature was introduced."
