  1. Google is killing off Cloud Print at the end of 2020

You dont really know what Google Reader was as it has nothing to do with Acrobat Reader which is a PDF viewer.... I dont know why you would make this silly statement given you obviously assumed Google Reader had something to do with PDF's and then went on to say Adobe Reader is a replacement (you obviously didnt ever use or know what Reader was but just had to defend Google for some reason). Google Reader was not a PDF tool..... If you dont know what a product is dont just type blurb like you are in the know to defend something "just caus"

Unrelated but... this is exactly the reason people are skeptical about Stadia. I liked Cloud Printing, was easy to use.

  8. Microsoft continues to make the same mistakes as before. They fail to understand the market. People want ALL possible applications to run on their Windows machine. Even if they never run it. Simply because it is Windows. When people have been accustomed to download a random .exe from the internet and get along just fine (mostly), any restricting behavior will be rejected. Simple because it is Windows. Surface Pro X is a wonderful piece of hardware. The new pen and slot is ingenious. Microsoft has finally made the Surface somewhat serviceable. But I still fail to understand why they keep trying to make ARM PCs when it does not do what an Intel PC does. I understand 64-bit emulation is in the works, but who makes a purchase based on a promise that may happen? I don't mind the emulation, but IMO an ARM based Windows PC will only sell if it can run all the apps an Intel based PC can (doesn't matter how well).

  10. I have to admit, they are doing a damn good job on this port. I am currently on a potato rig that's barely above what an Xbox 360 is (I mean its better but not by much lol) due to my GPU dying months ago and just not being able to get a new cpu/motherboard along with an expensive GPU when I have no income right now. So I'm stuck on an old ass 1GB card right now, ugh. Still, I can run Reach maxed out at 1920x1280 with barely any hiccups. So, kudos to the team over at 343 for such a good job so far with all the testing and patching they've done. Really looking forward to all the other games finally as I've not played any Halo games since Halo 2 PC basically.

  11. Not only that China uses Huawei to spy on its own citizens, they also use them for acquiring private data from foreign citizens... you are naive if you think this is not the case... China do not need Huawei to spy on it's own people, I know someone who lives there and we chat a a few times. How do we know that the U.S is not spying on us, how do we know any other hardware and software we have is not spying on us? why won't Ms allow us to get rid of telemetry? they say it helps them, maybe so, but I think there is another motive because MS is so keen to keep with it.

https://lmgtfy.com/?q=Google+reader How about instead of rambling on next time stating about how you never used it because you had acrobat reader (which implies you know something when you say "Google Reader can be replaced with Adobe Reader" that is a statement you literally had no clue was true or not) you actually google what you are talking about before trying to say acrobat reader could replace it, you literally had no idea what you were talking about and assumed it was a PDF reader and then started rambling. If you knew you had not used it and knew you had NO idea what is was how about next time you google what it was before you start typing rather than looking a fair bit silly.

  17. Knowte

Hi everyone, Most of you will know me as the developer of audio player Dopamine. Today, I'd like to present another one of my applications: Knowte. Knowte was born in 2013, under a different name. Back then, it was called Note Studio. I created it because I needed a simple application to write and organize work notes. A great search functionality was also a must have. Today, I have more than 1000 notes in my work collection. Until recently, Knowte was a Windows-only application. That changed with Knowte 2.0, which was released a few weeks ago. Yesterday I released version 2.0.1 and thought it might be nice to present it here. This is a list of its features: - Creation of notes - Organize notes in notebooks - Group notebooks in collections (allows separating home and work notes for example) - Note formatting - Task lists - Search - Runs on Windows and Linux (theoretically it can run on Mac, but I don't have a Mac to build it for that platform) - Export to PDF - Note printing - Mark notes Knowte can be downloaded on GitHub: https://github.com/digimezzo/knowte-electron/releases Enjoy!

  19. I've bought 3 OnePlus phones over the years and yet think their website security is abominable. I'm not going to defend anything. That said, every piece of data in this breach (for me) is already exposed publicly. With the exception of an email address, the rest of the info is available to anyone with a phone book. The email address has been part of about 7 data breaches over the last 4 years so I think I'll be fine. Sure, it would be nice if they bothered to take the security of their website a bit more seriously but if security truly was the benchmark for using a companies products, Adobe would have gone bankrupt a decade ago.

  21. The Big Wrestling Thread!

Impact's definitely bigger than them; they've got a proper national TV deal, for starters (ROH is syndicated and all over the place), and I'm pretty sure they've got a higher average attendance at the moment. So I'd put ROH as 4th biggest for now until NJPW America starts up, then they'll probably drop out the top 5 if Billy Corgan starts scaling up the NWA next year. Speaking of which, as you said, it's weird that NWA are more organised than ROH right now, and that's even with Dave Lagana (vice president, used to be head writer for TNA) sympathising with white supremacists and Billy Corgan being a conspiracy nutter who's been on bloody InfoWars before!

  22. The Big Wrestling Thread!

It's going mainstream now. https://www.newsweek.com/ring-honor-kelly-klein-concussion-medical-policy-management-1473223 There's a lot of eye-opening stuff in the article. Turns out Kelly Klein's on just $20k a year, so she's actually earning less than me and my call centre job. ROH's general manager Greg Gilleland forgot to exercise their option to renew Maria Manic's contract in September, basically saying it's down to the wrestlers to tell them they want to stay, rather than them reaching out, and also ###### on the entire roster by saying none of them are "going to make us millions". Worst of all, though, is they still don't have medical staff at all their shows (which I think Joey Mercury mentioned in previous tweets); they're there only when state athletic commissions require it, or if they're in a venue that happens to provide the staff off their own back (like the UK show where Klein got concussed in the first place).

And he's also tweeted the email Kelly got basically future endeavouring her: So yeah, like @LOCsaid. Either BJ Whitmer overreacted by saying she was fired, or ROH toned it down.

  28. The Big Wrestling Thread!

Yep, Joey Mercury tweeted Kelly Klein was on under $24k a year. That's pretty bad from ROH. Hell, it's only slightly more than what I earn, and I'm not getting roughed up on TV and PPVs.

  29. Apple removes customer reviews from its online store

Or that policing non reviews from Apple haters or the competition is difficult. Policing - good word. The action Apple feels it has to take toward users who are displeased with their products and voice that displeasure on their site. There are Apple users who feel like if you have anything negative to say about their products, you're an 'Apple Hater'. Right now we know one thing only. Reviews have been removed. Jumping to conclusions or getting too heated up about this would be illogical.

Let's look at the Microsoft Store and read some reviews about the Zune. Zune reviews were actually very high. yeah, the zune's problem was it wasn't the iPod at the time Zune's problem was that it was a copy of something else, Like Windows Phone was. Like Cortana. people can copy stuff all the time and do better, Amazon copied Siri basically and look which one is all over the place now... I can't remember the last time I saw someone use siri personally

  37. The same reason all US corps have abandoned any meaningful manufacturing plants in the US, it's cheap. You dont understand the comment... it is not about manufacturing the equipment is about building the mobile infrastructure ... yes cost plays a part in it but Germany here is being strong armed into using Huawei... In other words they sold their privacy and security to China. Well, they'll also be relying on Russia for power too for that matter. Guess they don't have a problem laying their fate in the hands of China and Russia... 🤷‍♂️
