  3. I remember when the Envy HP's first came out. They were a BEAST. The 15in was one of the few machines that where, at the time, thin, and fit 2 drives for RAID. The 14in had an "amazing" 1600x900 Radiant display, which was VERY rarely in stock, and the cheaper panel looked like you were looking through a window screen. It was the ONLY time I liked the ENVY line.

  6. Can't wait for this. I wanted to get something like Tile, but once I looked into it, it seemed kinda half baked in execution. Hopefully Apple will have sorted this stuff out better. George Carlin has a bit about losing things, and if I could answer that age old question with technology, by all means...

  7. When Airports and normalcy resumes, consider visiting Kenya!!

My boys and I decided to go for a road trip and covered a total of over 100 km in two days. We had FUUUUN!! that much i can assure you... First we had a stop at the rift valley view point which is between Nairobi and Naivasha, Kenya. We then went to Nakuru and spent the night there at a relatives. The following morning, we embarked on a journey to Subukia where the Altitude is 2550 M and is also in the rift valley. The view at this point is just out of this world!!! The we finally visited the Thompson falls in Nyahuru, Central Kenya and a few kms from Subukia. Attached below are some pics. I hope you enjoy.

  25. SpaceX Super Heavy and Starship updates

It's could be a pressure issue, perhaps the lower tank lost pressure rather than it just simply being structurally too week to support the weight from above. This is the point of the prototypes though, testing scenarios to make sure designs can stand up to all of the various scenarios. I'm sure all rockets have gone through similar stages of testing. I think this is a different issue to the previous failure so hopefully it's a case of fixing one issue and moving on to a new one.

  27. Twitter reveals that Firefox cached private files even after a user has logged out

It is their way of saying that they messed up and didn't implement the sign-out properly. Signing out isn't a browser's feature. It is a common feature in web apps. This requires physical access to your computer. In that case, believe me, they don't waste their time with Firefox cache; you have much more valuable things worth stealing. ... and didn't use Private Browsing!

  32. Cloudflare is bringing WARP to macOS and Windows

I loved that OS I still have the CD, I still remember that fish video that was on that disc, and using it to check if my video and sound cards were properly configured. I ran that before Windows 95, it was impressive. OS/2 WARP was indeed impressive; IBM severely undersold/undermarketed it and did not stress OS/2's capabilities enough and basically let Microsoft pilfer its lunch. In typical Microsoft fashion!! Co-ords: It isn't as if IBM wasn't warned; they were - in fact by Microsoft itself among others.

  33. Spotify finally brings 'Hey Siri' support to Apple Watch users

Does something like spotify really need 2 factor? Are you storing your personal bank information as as your playlist names? I've had someone somehow manage to gain access to my account. They utilize the stream which stops your music from playing. It's really weird too because it's tied to my Facebook account, which requires 2FA just to login to it so I'm not sure how it was done exactly, but I ended up changing everything. Either way, downplaying security is just silly and not something I would advocate.

  37. Tabs aside is 'collections' You can save all your open tabs in a window to a new or existing collection. Tab reviews is weird cause it is in Chrome for ages. Don't know why it is not in Edge. I want that custom background for the new tab page they have been talking about 'coming september 2019' It’s really not. I am still using the old Edge. I also want the beautiful Fluent title bar ... in addition to Set Aside and Tab Previews ... The semi-gimmicky annotations feature too was a unique offering ... Anyway, my point is that I will continue to use old Edge at least until Microsoft gets its act together with the new one ... I am happy to see other users asking for these features.

  38. qBittorrent 4.2.3

I can get 65Mb/s via Socks5 in 4.2.2 on 600Mbit connection. What is your setup? Also I am a bit wary of updating with the problems they had between 4.1.x to 4.2.x but this has some nice bug fixes so I am going to roll the dice. I just know all versions up to and including 4.1.8 work fine but 4.2.2 and 4.2.3 have issues for me More than happy to stick with 4.1.8. I've noticed that some time after 4.1.8 (it's definitely in 4.2.2 and 4.2.3), the spacing in the torrent list is much larger. Don't like that design difference much. Prefer the tighter spacing.

  42. YouTube's TikTok rival is reportedly called 'Shorts'

Vine got shutdown because it wasn't making money. Not because of people's fail/challenge content. If anything, that's why it lasted as long as it did. really? I could have sworn I remember there being controversies and them getting in trouble over those types of videos leading to the shutdown. It's been so long though and I never really looked into the official shutdown reason so maybe I just assumed.

  45. Microsoft Edge is getting vertical tabs, Password Monitor, and more

Tabs aside is 'collections' You can save all your open tabs in a window to a new or existing collection. Tab reviews is weird cause it is in Chrome for ages. Don't know why it is not in Edge. I want that custom background for the new tab page they have been talking about 'coming september 2019' Probably because it's NOT in Chromium by default. OR if it IS in chromium by default, Microsoft may have removed it initially to build in other Edge features. Chrome's Tab preview is a trash implementation. Not stable, uses alternative rendering crap, show and doesn't offer real-time functionality, making it significantly less useful. Microsoft wants a seamless rendering implementation like EdgeHTML; however, this is hard to tap into without a consistent OS accessible composer, which is a problem outside Windows and osx.

  47. Microsoft throttles some its services due to high demand

By your logic, AWS cannot even handle Amazon.com -- so much so that Amazon is reducing their warehouse operations worldwide! I'm sorry, what incoherant argument are you trying to pawn off as being valid? They are a company, interested in profits, and so are stocking the things that are selling the fastest (and thus making the most profit). If you can't understand this simple concept which is the fundamental for any business then you proably shouldn't have access to the internet. 1. AWS != Amazon.com 2. I was applying your logic by properly comparing Amazon.com atop AWS (which is akin to Office.com atop Azure). 3a. Thank you for explaining to me what my client does! /s 3b. Of course, I am unable to thoroughly and absolutely correct you about all of the things Amazon corporation actually does (sad face) due to being bound by several non-disclosure agreements across various business units there. And by "there" i mean their global HQ which are located down the street. (wink emoji)
