  2. How to bypass Windows10 build version checking?

Not possible. The package was build with a minimum version for a reason and running that old a version of Windows likely does not include assemblies that the app requires. I think you choice is to upgrade to a newer version of Win 10 or find another app to do what you are looking to do.

  5. I'd take this over the Alienware any day. I've had two Alienwares- one at home and one at work. The one at home I got rid of pretty quickly when I found how it was not very configurable/upgradeable. I'd prefer this for that reason. The new one I got at work a couple months ago (A great sale price nothing else came close to competing with) is an embarrassment- it's just tacky and every time I compile, the fans kick in and it sounds like we have a jet engine in the office. Will I be able to replace the fan with something quiet? Maybe! But maybe not. Dell did not design these things to be customizable.

  8. More like Apple didn't and what Samsung didn't either. The missing part of this story are the words: "WITH ELIGIBLE TRADE-INᶿ AND SAMSUNG FINANCING" Bad mistake on my part. Samsung's website didn't make this abundantly clear since the "OR" text is after where they say the price requires a trade-in. I'll fix it.

That just looks like there isnt a graphics driver available for your graphics. So it is displaying at a lower resolution and colour depth. Once you have completed the installation, and have all drivers installed, you should be fine.

  27. Should I upgrade my Ryzen 3 1200 CPU?

This is an older thread at this point, but following up as I did just finally upgrade my CPU. Though I was initially targeting the 2600 back in Dec, I pulled the trigger on the 3600, and it was well worth it. Performance has increased dramatically. GTA5 for instance used to pin my 1200 at 100%, but now with the 3600, it runs an average of 25%.

  32. list disk not showing all partition

Yeah, that's what you'd expect to see. The disk is the physical drive in your machine (e.g. your hard-disk/SSD), and it has 5 partitions on it. There's a "format" button in Windows setup you can use to clear partition 4. If you want to clear that partition using diskpart, you need to select the disk, select the partition and use the format command. E.g: list disk (disks will be listed) select disk 0 (disk 0 is now selected) list partition (example output from my machine: Partition ### Type Size Offset ------------- ---------------- ------- ------- Partition 1 System 360 MB 1024 KB Partition 2 Reserved 128 MB 361 MB Partition 3 Primary 474 GB 489 MB Partition 4 Recovery 1730 MB 475 GB) select partition 3 (selects partition 3) Type "help format" for more information on how to use format.

  33. How to use Canon DSLR camera as a webcam with your PC

Part of the idea is that if you don't have a webcam available, which many don't, few may happen a DSLR sitting around that can be used in it's place. Webcams are hard to come by right now. And they're not inexpensive in a time period where money is tight for people. This isn't just about quality, it's about an alternative way to gain access to streaming over the web. Or did you somehow miss the fact we're in a pandemic and many people are stuck at home right now?

  37. Surface Go 2 specs revealed by Energy Star certification filing

I honestly think there will be 4 versions from the Go 2: - 64 GB eMMC, 4 GB RAM and a 128 GB, 8 GB RAM version with the Pentium - 128 GB, 8 GB RAM and the LTE version with the 8100y chip the pentium versions without keyboard will range from 399-499€, the 8100y from 599-699€. No official info but around that. Then starts the SP7 i3. Nevertheless it is a lot of money for a Go, as the keyboard is not included. A lot of people will ask themselves: do I buy a Go 2 8100y or one of the many daily offers SP7 i5 128 GB? Near me I find this i5 version many times with keyboard for around 750€ and the G4 Iris graphic (and the cpu itself) is a whole world better than the 8100Y. So I'll wait for the Go2 and evaluate what it is better. I have the Go 1 and I just regret not having bought the SSD with 8 GB version, as somethimes it is not the cpu that bothers me but the lack of RAM with a pdf + word + couple of webpages, then Windows needs do use more memory page and slows everything down! Honestly, with such a ###### CPU you might as well get an iPad. Office 365 runs like crap on those rebranded atoms and if you want to do some PHP or js... forget about it lol. There should not be a Pentium + 4GB model. Base model should be the M3 + 8GB + 128GB SATA and higher model should just have more storage (NVMe). Kinda makes you wonder why they're using such a low powered CPU that even the ARM based ones seem better - what's the real point? No idea. Surface Go would make sense on ARM. But then again every manufacturer treats ARM as Premium, meanwhile it should be the opposite, cheap. Have you seen a WoA device that is less than what, 500Euro?

  43. US source: North Korean leader in grave danger after surgery

Of course they are biased. So is the Western MSM. So much so they wouldn't show the pics purposefully to keep the "mystery alive". It's being reported he attended a public event. BBC have showed just one photo. The American media - none (personally checked multiple sources). Here, have a go at it. I'm not proficient with the Korean, but I'm positive that date says May 1st, 2020. Easy to fake of course, but this "sensation" is now over. You've been ALL played again.

  46. Motorola Edge+ review: Hello Moto, welcome back

Problems with wireless charge, carrier locked to a single carrier, low light shots are not very good, loaded with bloatware and weak 5G implementation and it still gets a 9 rating? You're too easy Rich. For me, it would get no better than a 7.5 or maybe 8. Its a very nice phone and with the right lighting, the pictures are fantastic. But no way for me this phone rates a 9.
