Examples? Or is it more because you can’t accept that the truth is the truth, facts are facts, and not something that can twisted and distorted by your favorite. Betting it’s the latter. Examples? Try editing any article which peddles leftist propaganda and give a counter balanced (not rightist or nationalistic) viewpoint with proper news articles. Your edit will not stay and will be reverted back to original. There are many blogs and news stories complaining about the same.2 points -

Google Messages might soon add end-to-end encryption for RCS
Ccl Ncc reacted to chaos mage for a topic
The fact that they didn't include this as part of RCS by default tells you a lot. RCS adoption is slow so itll be years before anyone sees these features on android. Google messed it up like every other messaging thing they've done. Considering how the US Government has been passively aggressively claiming the law will change about encryption for the last ten years I don't know that I'd blame them even though I'd have liked it sooner.1 point -

With Intel's Flex Memory Access, it still may utilize dual channel even if the RAM is not in the proper sockets. However, I agree that Rich should check the proper location for RAM and do a couple of new tests to see if there is a difference. Flex Memory Mode is a mixed single/dual channel mode, and you still have to use both sockets. In this scenario this is not applicable. Let's take an example: A(1 x 8GiB) + B(1 x 4GiB) = 12 GiB Total memory In ideal case this will operate in Flex mode: 4+4 dual + 4 singe In detail: - dual mode: lower half of 8GiB from A + 4 GiB from B - single mode: remaining upper half of 8GiB from A Check this: Single- and Multichannel Memory Modes https://www.intel.com/content/...005657/boards-and-kits.html1 point -

@Rich Woods Why are you use Single Channel memory configuration for benchmarking?! On the photos you have filled the he A1 and A2 DIMM slots with the two modules, and you have leaved the B channel completely empty? Why? The 4th picture of the CPU-Z clearly shows the single channel mode... Sorry, but I think you should repeat the whole benchmark, because it is almost useless. (...and see the positive side: it is a good opportunity to compare singe/dual channel performance) Anyway, I appreciate your work.1 point -

Honestly, your gender and sexual preference should not matter. If it's becoming a problem, just use people's initials with some varying ID markers that can be checked against by the administration, rather than editors who approve articles. In no way should anyone be looked at by their race, gender, religion, sexual preference, etc. Either you're posts are quality backed by science or they're not.1 point -

I just translate these types of articles to "Some members were being ######. We no longer allow them to." The article really brings up 2 topics, harassments' which is a issue for sure and should be taken care of, I don't disagree there. The other bit, though just one line, brings up the gender imbalance. Which is a totally different subject, the two shouldn't be meshed together in my opinion. My comment was to that, there will always be a natural gender imbalance in different fields/professions due to the simple truth that men and women like, on average, different things. And it's always when the imbalance tilts to more males that it's brought up as a issue but when it's tilted more towards women it's not.1 point -

I do not disagree that there are articles designed for a particular narrative. Post one. And what's the narrative you feel it's pushing? As an example ... the U.S. article for Secretary Hillary Clinton places undue emphasis on her victory of the popular vote. I am not sure how to otherwise answer your question than by mentioning this detail. And ... since he was already mentioned for some reason ... until it would seem recently the articles for Hitler placed undue emphasis on right-wing affairs despite Hitler himself indicating that the Party was neither left-wing nor right-wing. So because Hitler claimed NAZIs weren't left or right, that's the be-all-end-all of truth? LOL So, then, since Trump claims he's a "stable genius" that makes it true, too? Facts show that the NAZIs were and always have been an ultra-right ideology. Facts are facts.1 point -

lol the comments in here are like clockwork. So predictable. There has to be a point where all these people bitching about efforts to curb incorrect information and outright falsehoods, have to really start and wonder, that gee, every single service that is enforcing fact checking, limiting false edits... these efforts somehow conflict with their values.. and maybe start to wonder if those values/views are flawed? Half of you all sound like you're at stage 1 or 2 of the grieving process, you've got a long way to go till acceptance that you're conditioned and brainwashed into not believing actual, verifiable facts, as well as not accepting the efforts to combat falsehoods. Not to mention, nobody should be using Wikipedia as a primary source of information, at least not without looking at the sources list at the bottom, which no doubt contains sites that you've also been mind warped into thinking are fake. It'd almost be funny, if it weren't so pathetic. Literal bitching about efforts to limit toxic behavior, we alternate universe have we all fallen into.1 point -
Star Citizen free play event kicks off, offers free ships to fly until June 1
JoeBlober reacted to TH3ROOKIE for a topic
One of the problem with Star Citizen userbase is that some of them think it's a complete and final game. Even if you try to explain the concept of alpha, beta, gold, it just doesn't get in. They can get into a server, control a ship, do things, so it shouldn't have bugs, the mechanic should be there, and on and on. The other problem now is that the focus has shifted to SQ42 since a couple of months and it has slow down the development of SC. Anyways, I think it's worth a try now, to see what the game will look like when it's released, in a long distant future.1 point -

I'm not going to single out Wikipedia specifically here but why is it in a business or a specific field in general where there are more men than women it's a gender issue but in other fields where it's more women than men no one cares or brings it up? It's about time everyone got to grips with the fact that men and women, on average, like different things and fields of work. Equal opportunity is fine, but when you try to force equal equity things are only going to quickly fall apart. There's no place on earth this type of idea/model works. You can't change human nature/psychology.1 point -

And still not provide anything of interest Uhh the May 2020 Update (AKA Windows 10 Version 2004) offers a LOT of enhancements, fixes and refinements to the OS dude... might wanna read this nice changelog @ https://mspoweruser.com/window...-update-here-is-whats-new/" rel="external nofollow">https://mspoweruser.com/window...4-update-here-is-whats-new/ Still, nothing of interest, the stuff you call enhancements are not really, there is nothing there that will make using Windows 10 any different to what I am doing now and I still use Windows 10 as I used to use Windows 7 or 8. So they are changing Cortana around, oh wow, Cortana is dead and have been since it was introduced into Windows 10, just remove it and be done with it. Mouse speed to setting, oh wow how many years have that taken? I still use the control panel for a lot of the settings because the settings app is so incomplete, why did it need changing anyway? Windows search i never use and nor do a lot of people why? Because it is linked to bing which is a total and complete waste of time, I do not use Google either, I use duck duck go. oh wow, more Kamoji, just what we want as if Emojis are not bad enough. Reset Pc from the cloud, could be useful, but a lot of people will still download the ISO and keep that, saves time. I also wonder what problems this update will bring, because every single update so far have had problems.1 point -

Mafia Trilogy includes a remake, a remaster, and a re-release
ThaCrip reacted to +E.Worm Jimmy for a topic
Even then[when they moved to the 60's in Mafia III], I still feel it's general characters/cut scenes were more interesting/of higher quality than the GTA series. GTA feels more cartoony where as Mafia feels more serious and has a better tone etc. If you think GTA is cartoony, you should try playing Saints Row! (-; Yeah, don't get me wrong. I would say GTA and Mafia series are the top of their type of game (along with Red Dead Redemption series as I probably prefer that over GTA for me personally (I have not played RDR2 but I assume ill like it had I played it)). but I think Mafia easily tops GTA series in terms of single player, which is what these games are all about. basically I would say... 1)Mafia series 2)Red Dead series 3)GTA series. after those three things tend to take a hit and are cheap knock-offs that lack quality. I would not judge by the whole series as each series has hit and misses Mafia 1 and Saintsrow 3 were memorable in terms of fun I had.. though in very different ways. gta IV was just boring for me - I did not even make it past the first quarter or the game.. same with Saints Row 1. ALMOST FORGOT: Sleeping Dogs was amazing for me - better the GTA and I loved the story too. I had as much fun as I did in Mafia 1 there Some might say the Mafia series had hits and misses but I think most people consider Mafia/Mafia II to be strong (although I remember back when Mafia 2 was first released at least a fair amount of people kind of dised Mafia 2 but I think it was because of their high praise for Mafia (2002), the 2nd game was almost inevitably going to let them down and while it was worse than the first game, it's not by much to where it was still a strong sequel overall) where as Mafia III is a bit more hit or miss (seems many dised it but I think it's a bit underrated, at least in some ways). while it had it's issues, I think in some ways it's still strong like the general characters and the like (which makes it overall better than the GTA games if you ask me as they have decent characters but nothing that stands out if you ask me). but the overall feel of the game, especially in terms of general combat it feels a bit too different from Mafia/Mafia II which I could see some not caring for as while I like the weapons upgrade additions I think in terms of general combat the first two games were clearly superior overall. but I understand your 'very different ways' concept as even in terms of movies... Movie A vs Movie B. both can be equally great but you enjoy them in different ways. but to me Mafia (2002) stands out from all other games in overall experience as only Mafia II is close but even that still fell a bit shy of masterpiece status and then things start to decline fairly rapidly after that even though there is a fairly solid game here and there. like say... Mafia (2002) = 10/10, Mafia II (2010) = 9/10. all others... 7-8/10 at best for me personally. but I think each series collectively, that's how I would rank them... 1)Mafia series 2)Red Dead series 3)GTA series. after those three things tend to take a hit even though there might be exceptions once in a while like you mentioned. but come to think of it, in some ways I liked Scarface over the GTA series which I am sure got a boost because I think the movie is solid. but thanks for your comment. you should really play Sleeping Dogs. This is basically modern day chinese mafia and story and charaters is very good. You might consider it a Sleeper Hit (haha) definitive edition is great!1 point -
