  2. Microsoft acknowledges Surface Earbuds sound issues

The Surface lineup has been downhill immediately since after the release of the Surface Pro 3. I cannot even think of the brand now without thinking of the myriad of issues that plagued the Surface Pro 4.

Laughing at that comment because that's exactly what I thought when I first say the title... But then again there are people in other countries here that use the non-american dollar

  12. lol the comments in here are like clockwork. So predictable. There has to be a point where all these people bitching about efforts to curb incorrect information and outright falsehoods, have to really start and wonder, that gee, every single service that is enforcing fact checking, limiting false edits... these efforts somehow conflict with their values.. and maybe start to wonder if those values/views are flawed? Half of you all sound like you're at stage 1 or 2 of the grieving process, you've got a long way to go till acceptance that you're conditioned and brainwashed into not believing actual, verifiable facts, as well as not accepting the efforts to combat falsehoods. Not to mention, nobody should be using Wikipedia as a primary source of information, at least not without looking at the sources list at the bottom, which no doubt contains sites that you've also been mind warped into thinking are fake. It'd almost be funny, if it weren't so pathetic. Literal bitching about efforts to limit toxic behavior, we alternate universe have we all fallen into.

  15. UK takes another look at Huawei's position in 5G networks

I must have missed the presumption of innocence being changed to a presumption of guilt. Did they sneak that into the Coronavirus Bill? Oh, and she isn't wanted for murder either. You're right that she's not wanted for murder, but incorrect that she's innocent. There's zero doubt that her dangerous driving killed an innocent man; she even admitted it. Not quite, she admitted hitting him and admitted being on the wrong side of the road. That's not quite the same as admitting causing death by dangerous driving. Same thing. In the UK, driving on the wrong side of the road IS dangerous driving, by default. Killing someone by doing so IS causing death by dangerous driving.

Those surfaces were sooooo much trash. Its like they just kept releasing the same junk every year. The first iteration gets a pass but you can't be serving up the same hot garbage every year and expect people to be pleased. I've been to 3 companies and they all had surfaces just sacked, all with crazy issues, guys said that buying them was one of their worst decisions.

  21. Samsung Galaxy Note20+ design revealed in leaked renders

No kidding. It looks like somebody took a black box and superglued it onto the back. Horrible. In the grand scheme of things, phones have gotten too thin now and they're slippery to hold because of it. I think that most of us would prefer the phone be a bit thicker than this monstrosity. Agreed. I would gladly have the Note (as an ultra-flagship) be as thick as the camera hump, if it meant having a bigger capacity battery.

  26. Google Messages might soon add end-to-end encryption for RCS

Especially since I don't want Google to read my ######... RCS does not go through Google's servers at all, which is THE reason why the rollout has been so damn slow. this is not correct at all... Google's implementation of RCS (not the universal one), completely goes through Google servers: If your message is sent and delivered successfully via Google's RCS, it's then deleted from Google's servers. If your message is sent via Google's RCS, isn't received, and you ultimately have to fall back to SMS/MMS, it's also deleted from Google's servers. If your message is sent via Google's RCS, routed through another provider, and successfully delivered, it's deleted from Google's servers — though other services in the chain may have their own data policies. However, files like images and videos sent in RCS messages are temporarily stored on Google servers with non-visible, hashed, "random, unguessable URLs." Be careful who you send files like images to, as well: Metadata isn't removed from photos, so if location data was attached when it was captured, that is sent to the recipient, too. To route your messages and enumerate which of your contacts can and can't receive RCS messages, Google stores some information like your phone number, SIM, and other device identifiers while you're connected to its RCS/chat protocol, though that information is eventually deleted after about a month if you opt out or become inactive. Should any of this bother you, just don't opt in when you get the prompt on your phone.

  29. Unless your career is in competitive gaming and you do absolutely nothing else with your PC, I can't logically pick Intel this time around, and I've been using Intel in my PC builds since the Pentium D back in 2005. Ryzen gives me better multitasking, encoding, streaming, VM utilization and , living in the tropics, better thermals. By September I'll be going to the 4900X if its out or if not the 3900X.

This headline reads like it was written by someone in Intel marketing. The mainstream has been offering this level of performance for a while in the Ryzen 5 3600, the only thing this part actually consistently wins in is gaming.

  31. Intel Core i5-10600K review: Mainstream performance sets a new bar

With Intel's Flex Memory Access, it still may utilize dual channel even if the RAM is not in the proper sockets. However, I agree that Rich should check the proper location for RAM and do a couple of new tests to see if there is a difference. Flex Memory Mode is a mixed single/dual channel mode, and you still have to use both sockets. In this scenario this is not applicable. Let's take an example: A(1 x 8GiB) + B(1 x 4GiB) = 12 GiB Total memory In ideal case this will operate in Flex mode: 4+4 dual + 4 singe In detail: - dual mode: lower half of 8GiB from A + 4 GiB from B - single mode: remaining upper half of 8GiB from A Check this: Single- and Multichannel Memory Modes https://www.intel.com/content/...005657/boards-and-kits.html

It is really annoying that I have to use a separate browser just to watch YouTube and I would love to get to the root cause of this issue. @BruinatorYou are entitled to your opinion, but what you said is not at all helpful.

Yep, however, few countries possess counter-intelligence services such as the ones operated by Russia. They wouldn't be able to hide an assassination attempt on Putin regardless of the methods used.

  41. Ex-Russian Lawmaker Who Turned on Putin Shot Dead in Kiev

In the past, Russia experienced a number of big terrorist attacks aimed at sawing chaos and undermining the government. There were also a few large-scale Soros-funded anti-governmental protests which took place in Russia and were akin to what we saw in Syria and the Ukraine. I'm sure the security services have also averted direct attacks on Putin. The enemies of Russia never sleep. The whole Chechen affair was masterminded by them.

  45. Ex-Russian Lawmaker Who Turned on Putin Shot Dead in Kiev

I think 2016/2017 are shaping up to be the years everything is blame on Putin/Russia. Funny thing is, if we go back a few decades, everything was blame on the Chinese, then the Japanese, etc. It's a well written playbook with a very high chance of success due to a highly brainwashed population. Sad, very sad. What kind of a reply is that? Of course it's not O.K. for any news source to publish incorrect information but seriously, it's becoming pathetic how many times you're bringing this up. Surely you must have other examples by now...

  49. Ex-Russian Lawmaker Who Turned on Putin Shot Dead in Kiev

I don't expect Bloomberg or their colleagues from the other organizations subservient to the Western Ministry of Truth to mention any details of the dead man's criminal past. All those bribes he had taken; shady deals he had made. It's so much simpler and easier to exploit the anti-Putin narrative in which they've become so proficient. Voronenkov himself is neither the first or last Russian criminal who managed to ran away abroad from the Russian investigation and claimed political asylum all while accusing the Russian authorities of corruption in the process. It's so convenient. And of course, the new hosts will gladly accept luggages of cash of dubious origin as bank deposits of their newcomers. Chances are that his own criminal past haunted him. The Russian government doesn't execute people. We are way past that point. It's been 21 years this year since the moratorium on capital punishment was established in Russia. In the meantime, hundreds of extrajudicial killings have been performed by the U.S.
