yeah no... this is why they test... to find out why things could go wrong... and going by the looks of the video it wasn't the ship that blew up but was a result of the gas dump igniting and taking it with it... oh and yeah they are separate companies... just because musk is head of them both one doesn't take the other down3 points -
How to fix the 'Cortana is not available' error on Windows 10 version 2004
+Dick Montage and 2 others reacted to adrynalyne for a topic
Doesn't work. Wrong package name and two semantic errors. If trying to uninstall it, the correct command is: Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 | Remove-AppxPackage Erm, I'm afraid not. You specified the "-AllUsers" for Get-AppxPackage and not for "Remove-AppxPackage". That means the command queries the whole computer and then tries to uninstall something you may or may not have installed in your profile. And besides, on a multi-user computer, you don't want to annoy other users, especially if they haven't done the OOBE. This is very important: When Windows 10 20H1 gets installed, Microsoft.549981C3F5F10 puts Microsoft.Windows.Cortana into the "Pending removal" state for all users as soon as they log in. Oh, and let's not forget that all "-AllUser" operations need admin privileges. UAC does not work for individual PowerShell cmdlets. I wouldn’t have posted it if I wasn’t sure it worked. I didn’t mention needing admin rights because if someone needs to know that, they have no business running it. That and it tells you. Also If someone is running that on a multi-user computer, they should be publicly flogged. I am not recommending anyone run it or not; I am not here to hold anyone’s hand. Just pointing out what does work vs. the command that someone posted, which clearly does not. TL;DR: I was just correcting the other poster in the event you were actually looking to run it. No more, no less. 🙂3 points -

Lots of people seem to think that free speech applies to everything and don't understand that it actually doesn't. Any social media platform can ban, mark, censor your posts if you break their ToS, free speech doesn't apply. The argument about being a public platform vs a publisher is pointless. The only real debate here should be if twitter applies the same ToS to everyone or selectivity. As long as it applies to all their users fairly, then there is no issue.2 points -

Paying for end-to-end encryption is a sound business decision, but not a customer friendly decision. Also, isn't end-to-end encryption open source and the only cost associated with it, is tailoring it into your product?2 points -
SpaceX's Starship SN4 prototype explodes on the test stand
Slackerr and one other reacted to neufuse for a topic
for some reason they started dumping the tanks... and if you watch the really slow speed replay when the gas got to the flare tower it went off... the flame starts there and very quickly goes back to the "ship" tank... you can even see this in the tower sway as it gets pulled back towards the ship tank as the explosion goes backwards... I don't think the "ship" itself exploded but was the result of a gas dump that ignited and then blew it up... question is why did they decide to dump the propellant gas or if they didn't what caused it to mass release?2 points -

That proposal is a quick way to take Twitter, Facebook and Google private. And that's about all it will accomplish. It will probably shut down most of the support forums for every other major company as well. complying with First Amendment standards is not hard at all! and would make Twitter a Freer and more liberal communication utility. Twitter needs to NOT editorialize and NOT selectively ban opinions they disagree with. or they will be held liable for this Behavior and not be protected by 230 immunity, Twitter will still moderate the platform for violence illegal activity Etc... and will retain its 230 immunity from being held liable for this type of specific moderation ( based on the precedent set by stratton Oakmont, Inc. v. Prodigy Services Co) but as a platform they will not restrict, sensor or suppress any type of speech that is protected by the First Amendment. Twitter brought this on themselves for editorializing an opinion made by the president - they are clearly acting like a publisher but then hide behind the 230 immunities that was given to them by the government! Twitter didn't editorialize anything. Trump's original tweet was not changed in the slightest, nor did Trump offer an opinion but unsubstantiated claims. Twitter's action had zero to do with the First Amendment either. The First Amendment is about gov infringement on one's speech, it does not cover what is said on a privately owned platform. By Trump using Twitter, he and everyone else for that matter are agreeing to Twitters rules and TOS, it does not work the other way around. Enough with the nonsense. by adding a "fact check" by people who hate him they have edited his speech. they have changed it's context. they editorialized his speech. this is enough to lose your exemption. No, it isn't. The law doesn't have a "lose your exemption" clause.1 point -

OnePlus and McLaren partnership comes to an end
d5aqoëp reacted to naap51stang for a topic
LOL the MClaren was just another excuse for Oppo's OnePlus to OVERCHARGE for nothing. Slap some colors on the back, with glass and up the price. I think it was the concept, when Oppo created OnePlus. First, build a loyal brand by offering a dirt cheap good higher end phone. Then, say you are a "startup" without the manufacturing capacity and money, so they offer the phone via an invite only, come up with goofy schemes to get the invite. Use a lot of slick marketing/website user forums to "spread the word". With each successive model, tweak the price. Now, their phones aren't really flagship killers that OnePlus typically uses, but are now flagships, with regard to the PRICE. They aren't bad phones, but you are better off to wait just before a new one comes out for them to dump the price and you can easily shave 2-300 dollars off the price.1 point -

It’s time to revisit the CDA - and what is means in 2020 compared to 1996 ( google did not even exists until 1998) what it means to be a social media company in 2020 and how the exemption from liability as a publisher effects the Decisions you make as a private company in regards to freedom of speech on your private platform but taking advantage of a liability exemption granted by the government in the fist place. In my opinion Robert barnes proposed the best solution I’ve seen: “Any publically traded social media company keeps section 230 immunity as long as they comply with First Amendment standards as if they were a governmental entity, when acting in the capacity of a publisher.”1 point -

Twitter didn't censor or editorialize Trump's tweet, so that's not playing both sides. Trump on the other hand is playing free speech fire by even suggesting that twitter should be closed. As the head of gov, he is the last person to even suggest such a thing as that does go against the First.1 point -

Few people actually know about places like 4chan were anything goes, those who post there know this full well, it's a place to troll from people who want to troll. It's users are just having a laugh and don't take anything posted there serious. Now if you take that to something like FB or Twitter where people think most things posted are serious or genuine, well, like you said, it'll only lead to more chaos. It's also interesting how much reach 4chan has, they've managed to mess with things online, just for kicks, on a number of occasions, starting troll post rumors that get picked up as fact and spark like wild fire. I did a fair bit research on that site, I know their were a lot of trolls. But trolling or not discussions about how rape is the woman's fault. Discussions about archaic concepts such as black people are predisposed to servitude and is Donald Trump the iconic alpha male do not have a place in civilized conversation. Trolling or not I agree, but you should know, and others, that 4chan is where people go to post stupid stuff to begin with. Like I said, you shouldn't take it serious at all.1 point -

How exactly is Cortana being enhanced by removing useful skills? Do they really think people will want to use a Cortana limited to specific productivity skills? Cortana's issue, like many others, is the lack of drive. The slow development of new first and third party skills, lack of affordable compatible hardware, and limited language support was what sent it spiraling down.1 point -

As far as the Xbox Series X goes, it'll support every Xbox One game without issue, 360 and original Xbox games are still limited by what they've already added to the BC list.
