I cannot believe people on here are actually trying to legitimise police officers in full riot gear shoving a man, probably in his 80's to the ground then showing no concern whatsoever for his health AS HE BLEEDS FROM HIS EAR, they were less than half his age and just strolled off leaving him lying in a pool of his own blood!!! A MAN IN HIS 80'S!!!! What in the hell is wrong with you? What the hell has happened to your country?! Where is the decency?3 points -

Why didn't the cops just take him to the rear like they did a younger protester 15 seconds later? Also, what is a "killer" shove? What a racist jackass. There is literally ZERO reason to do something like this unless he walked into Reddit and got employed solely because he was white. In which case Reddit is the problem, not him. I like to call idiots who do this kind of ###### "woke racists". He thinks he's so tolerant and accepting by pulling stunt like this yet in reality, he's doing the most racist thing ever. Also, imagine being that black person replacing him. First of all, what he wants is for a qualified black individual to take over his position. Secondly, you can talk meritocracy but until black children have equal access to education and the same amount of social mobility as white children then there are going to be clear disadvantages for the black population, hence the need for this type of affirmative action. Btw, affirmative action continues to be responsible for allowing white women in the United States and white men from poorer/rural regions in the United States to get increased education and economic opportunities; and the reasons are similar for why this action is also necessary for black individuals (people born in marginalized poorer community, very low social mobility, insufficient access to education, and fewer economic opportunities often by virtue of the region they live in). Finally, the protests in the United States, especially the more recent ones, have largely been peaceful. All you need is some group of opportunists to cause harm (many of whom were not black mind you, the looters were from many different backgrounds with different motivations). Moreover, I am quite surprised you are calling black individuals a protected class when the very reason behind these protests are police violence and killings that disproportionately impacts the black population. If they were of a protected class then incidents such as the murder of George Floyd would not have happened (amongst many other similar incidents).2 points -

I also disable all the internal services of the program, but in versions newer than 3.6.1, it has been impossible to disable the start up service from running in background. Does this version allow you to disable it from windows services and running in background? I turned off all real-time protection and using Glary Utilities I set the MbAMService to disable. If she just browses the internet and the like I would seriously look into installing Linux Mint on her computer and then just show her the very basics like installing updates occasionally which is easy enough to do with it's built in 'update manager'. just having Linux on her computer, assuming it's a option, will give her some level of protection since anything that one has to install will likely be Windows specific and just won't install on Linux in the first place by default. but even if that pretty much cures things, I suspect older people are more likely to fall for phishing schemes and the like. but I suspect one could work around that by just telling her not to give out ANY sensitive info without checking with you in the first place. or... just tell her to be of the mindset that unless you specifically went looking for a specific thing that say requires one to use a credit card, just assume it's a scam and ignore it and move on. BitDefender Free. Set it and forget it.1 point -

Qualcomm(R) Adreno(TM) 680 GPU - This driver does not appear to be new this month. Several of these are already up to date on my Pro-X, but not all. Hydrogen upper stages have a greater specific impulse, efficiency, but it comes at a high cost; expensive metallurgy and coatings to reduce hydrogen embrittlement of the tanks, plumbing, and engine. Hydrogen atoms penetrate the metal, weakening it. No embrittlement problem using rocket grade kerosene (RP-1) - it has a higher bulk density, meaning smaller tanks (lower dry mass). Weakness: Falcon 9 upper stage life due to the RP-1 gelling in the cold and battery life. In the end, a hydrogen upper stage ends up better than Falcon 9 using an RP-1 upper stage for very high energy launches, but even then Falcon Heavy beats hydrogen on cost by using brute force and recent techs which extend upper stage life; bigger batteries (thank you Tesla) and fuel warming. Starship hits the happy middle by using methane.1 point -

Going through someone's server, of course you'll need to authenticate. Down the road it'll probably support multiple devices if it doesn't already (think Pushbullet), going to be required anyway. Almost every service like this requires a centralized server, only one coming to mind that doesn't is KDE Connect, and that's limited to a one way connection, when it works at all. The idea of authenticating in such a manner simply to access one's phone that is stored locally is ludicrous to me ! There are other ways to do this. waysidedc - you REALLY hate authentication, don't you? Authentication of SOME sort - merely to prove that the users is who they say they are) i going to be a needful; doesn't matter who is Authentication Authority is. What is the REAL issue - who the Authentication Authority is? Or is really that there IS one?1 point -
Intel Core i9-10900K review: For a top-end gaming build
Miguel Braga reacted to ThaCrip for a topic
https://www.gamersnexus.net/hw...clock%20jumps%20by%2015%25. Yikes! My stock-clocked 7700k is a ways down those charts Good thing I'm hoping to upgrade in the next 90 days. Your worried about upgrading a 7700k CPU? ; seems like largely a waste of $ as I would assume your CPU still gets solid performance (easily more than good enough) when paired with a decent GPU on games, especially if one is not going too crazy on screen resolution which I could easily live without. so it's largely a waste of $ (like $ spent to real world performance gained would not be enough to justify the $. because even if you get a good performance boost, once someone reaches 60fps+ beyond that is pretty much a waste of $ and one could easily live with a fair amount under 60fps and still have a solid gaming experience since I tend to use the 30fps-ish standard is playable and 60fps+ is perfect). chances are I, along with most other people, could easily get several years (probably at minimum, 3-5 years from now) out of your CPU before gaming performance would fall below a playable, if not pretty good, level. p.s. in my case I would be able to much easier justify upgrading since I am on a i3-2120 CPU (released in 2011 but I had it since May 2012) as my performance increase would be MUCH more profound and I could do it for minimal $. hell, I suspect even if I had a i5 range CPU from similar generation I would still be okay. but at this point it's probably not worth me upgrading my i3 to a i5 on my current motherboard because the cost would like be better put towards another build unless I could get the CPU for near dirt cheap (say maybe $30-ish tops and the CPU has to include a decent heatsink). but my CPU is the clear weak link in my gaming setup... i3-2120 on a 1050 Ti 4GB (which is still good enough for 1080p level gaming) as just going from a i3 to a i5 CPU would give me a solid boost.1 point -

I don't care the race or gender or what they identify as as long as they are qualified... but if he insists it goes to a black person over someone else (indian, asian, etc) that in itself is kinda racist isn't it? I thought there were also laws that prevent from hiring people based on their race as a key qualifier?1 point
