No, they aren't. But even the ones that do use proper fans for cooling don't melt internally (the GPU is usually the first to go, btw) after just a couple of years like all of these iMac all in ones have done since they were released. I've seen too many of these die to recommend them as a solution to anyone at all.3 points -

The case for biannual Windows 10 feature updates
Slackerr and 2 others reacted to George P for a topic
Seeing how the H2 updates don't look to be true "feature updates" anymore, you can just as well think of them as service packs to the H1 builds. So say MS does go to a 1 feature update release a year, it wouldn't change much IMO, because they'd probably still release a 2nd service pack or they'd call it something else, in the fall. I think the rumors that we're not getting 21H1, if true, are more to do with them shifting work to 10X and putting legacy Windows 10 in more of a extended servicing mode till they can get 10X done. Things could swing back to how they are now after 10X is ready to go.3 points -

Crap is right. If they wanted to have set up a reputable pay site for use by famous people, politicians, corporations, PR, etc., they shouldn't have let Twitter become the Internet's toilet bowl. From President Full Retard's daily vomit to the right wing fascist, racist, and anti-science kooks, Twitter isn't even worth installing for free. "From President Full Retard's daily vomit to the right wing fascist, racist, and anti-science kooks, Twitter isn't even worth installing for free." But at least us republicans don't oppose the truth (i.e. Christianity) like the godless/radical left routinely does and it's obvious which political party falls inline with this verse from the bible... "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." - Isaiah 5 : 20 that becomes more true the more radical the left gets as the more radical they get the more hostile they become to Christianity and anyone who opposes Christianity, and it's moral truth, is simply the villain. anyone who can see through the lens of Christianity knows the left are the villains with abortion being a very basic test of ones morality (falls inline with that Isaiah 5 : 20 bible verse about where they sugar-coat a immoral act under the guise of a "choice" in a attempt to make a intrinsically evil act look good) as if someone fails to get that one right they tend to be backwards in many other moral areas and that's what's happening on the left as the years/decades pass. you know the left is heading towards insanity when they question basic male/female nature. it's like they question everything and believe in nothing and end up accepting everything besides the truth of Jesus Christ. but it's not surprising as it's obvious many on the left in positions of power hate Jesus Christ and use their power to advance what's bad and oppose the good. also, the godless left limits how many can attend church services, which are essential for anyone who can see beyond the here and now (i.e. a persons soul is more important than ones body in the big picture), but have no problems with the "protesters" (i.e. rioters) gathering in groups and other stuff that's not nearly as important in the big picture etc. I am not saying the average democrat is that that bad but it's obvious the radicals have pretty much taken over the democrat party and that's bad for society in the long term as they are headed towards socialism/communism (which many Popes condemned through the ages) and the like which is anti-USA. but many are blind nowadays and can't see what's really going on as it's no longer about petty political differences of the past but it's becoming more of a battle of good vs evil and many just go with the flow of a immoral word thinking whatever is popular is good and whatever opposes that is automatically bad and must be censored/destroyed etc. “But at least us republicans don't oppose the truth (i.e. Christianity)” Oh boy.3 points -

The case for biannual Windows 10 feature updates
matthiew and one other reacted to Aaron44126 for a topic
I think that the argument that we have to get two feature updates per year in order to guarantee one "good" one is sort of off. Sure, the system works, if they continued the current pattern then you could hold off and only upgrade to the fall releases and be on a pretty stable track. However, switching to one update per year will do wonders by giving them a fewer active versions to worry about supporting, and allowing more time for each yearly update to be fully baked and tested. And Microsoft isn't forcing major version updates anymore. If you're worried about stability, just wait 6 months for all of the kinks to be worked out before upgrading. (That's basically what you would be doing by deferring to the fall release under the current system anyway.)2 points -

I kept thinking Microsoft would be able to work something out with Apple, but then I saw the announcement of xCloud coming out next month. I've been beta testing xCloud on iOS for months, the joke that it is because i don't really care about Halo and there is nothing else to test on iOS. I had already decided that I was going to provide my feedback to Apple and tell them how crappy I think it is that they are doing this. As an iOS user, they aren't helping me, they aren't protecting me, and this move by them is not a benefit to me as an Apple device / iOS user. So, let's just skip all of the hot air baloney about how wonderful Apple users feel about their devices, etc. Over the last few months since Microsoft was forced to release the crippled iOS xCloud beta testing, I haven't felt like Apple was doing right by any means for us, the iOS xCloud users.1 point -

Spider-Man coming to Marvel's Avengers in 2021, will be PlayStation exclusive
suni08 reacted to Brandon H for a topic
I actually understand first party exclusive games, but to have exclusive content is ######. If an Xbox fan and PS fan are paying the same, why should one get less content? Really ###### and I won’t support games that support these practices. So square enix is not getting a dime from me this time it's just a bonus playable character so it's not like it's hindering playing through the game, you're not losing any story or anything. Who's to say it's not just a timed exclusive anyway? It's likely an exclusive character in homage to the Marvel Spider-Man game which in itself IS an exclusive title for Sony. It's not something I would cry home about personally. -------- In any case I have no intention of picking this game up anyway; it seem subpar, especially on the graphics front. Graphics barely look xbox360/ps3 quality let alone current/next gen. And the gameplay doesn't seem to bring anything special I can't get out of other games that have a more unique story.1 point -
