"..child safety even if it meant removing content that does not go against its policies" What douchebags!. * We ban you because you break our rules. * But we don't break your (vague) rules. * We ban you anyways. I usually watch videos about old technology, animals, and vintage games, and they still get the ban-hammer. However, Youtube still promotes shady companies, scammers, and such. For example, Wish. Most of the Internet is moved by pay-for-scam, if you want to scam, then you pay, if you don't want to scam, then we could ban you anyways.4 points -

Exactly, I'm amazed at how people easily accept tech companies BS explanation. I've personally seen nature channels, channels that provide unbiased discussions and even tech hardware review channels just get demonetized, banned or deleted out of thin air with only vague explanations if any from the media companies. This is insane and people have to speak up about it.3 points -

It is the same game... Think graphic setting slider like PC games - this is the only difference between the two. I think the delay is down to the big difference in IO speeds between the older hdd focused XO/PC and the newer SSD based XSX and what that means for the way the game is made.2 points -

It is the same game... Think graphic setting slider like PC games - this is the only difference between the two. The thing is that in reality is not that easy. Even when you try to load textures, effects, and many more, it takes a lot of time to get these rights. I rather have a great Series X game than having both (even though I'm not planning on getting a Series X in at least 1 year).2 points -

I just don't understand why they need so much power. I want my next gen cards to be more powerful, of course, but 850 watts is more than twice the power of my current system. Graphics cards should be getting smaller and more power efficient at the same time! Especially as mobile gaming becomes more and more normal, eventually people are going to expect somewhere near that kind of performance on a tiny, passively cooled GPU. This seems to be going like the opposite way of the future, at least in terms of power efficiency and thermal design. I guess I'll wait and see what the requirements are for the 3050 and 3070, or whatever they call them, before I decide on my next GPU. Hopefully, if I decide it's not worth it, at least maybe the price on 20XX cards will drop.2 points -

It doesn’t. Sometimes it detects you’re wearing a mask and prompts for pin, sometimes it fails, and sometimes it just sits there and thinks deciding if you’re wearing a mask or not and then eventually prompts for pin. Missing the fingerprint sensor.2 points -

I personally know of many factual informational and research videos and even long time YouTube accounts that have been removed (videos) or frozen (accounts) for discussing the nitty gritty details of COVID-19 related pattens and so on. One person, in particular, is a researcher and not just some random “Joe Lunchbucket”. The reality is all of the talk about freedoms and free speech in America is largely baloney. If your message is contrary to the beliefs or agendas of ________ (take your pick - technocrats, big brother, global elite, etc.), then that message is going to be silenced, declared hate speech, or minimized in some other manner despite its truthfulness. These actions have clearly been on full display with YouTube, Facebook, and others in the last few months. So, I’m sure Q2 was a record quarter for YouTube, whether using humans or algorithms to do the removals.2 points -

Samsung has a wide gamut of devices that do fit that price range. They may not be as powerful or as future-proof as the SE, but they do definitely have some eye candy devices that meet the <$400 criteria. How about letting us set the tab bar to the side / vertical tabs? Years ago this was possible with a flag but they removed it and stubbornly refused to explain why in the issue tracker when people complained about its removal, and then locked the issue to prevent further discussion. And no, some extension that shows a redundant set of tabs in a separate window is not adequate.2 points -

Microsoft reprimands Apple in Epic court battle
matthiew reacted to Geezy for a topic
Take issue with credit card companies' transaction fees and you could knock a substantial amount off all fees taken across all platforms. Perfect example, imagine if credit card company is Apple where to use it, there's 30% tax for every transaction. Their (credit card) rule, their way. A credit card company won't stop you from using other credit cards and paying them from the same bank account, or using cash sometimes, and credit other times, or even together on the same transaction1 point -
