And that's far from immoral. Specially since Pakistan is totally fine with violence against LGBTs, Women, etc. In Pakistan, LGBT is illegal just like it used to be in the *West* couple of decades ago. Just b/c West doesn't think this way anymore won't grant them any right to finger point at others. On the other hand, no, Pakistan is not fine with violence against women. But, assh*les propel in every society. Please concentrate on the 4 fingers pointing at you and google "Violence against women in the west" but come out of the bubble you are living in. It will be fascinating. While at it, also try to figure out what's going on with #BlackLivesMatter Also, concentrate about what Mureka banned Huawei and now TikTok to protect its own technological assets. I am sure you have so much more homework to do to concentrate on another country banning something that they deem *immoral*.4 points -

As an ethic non-muslin minority, born and raised in an Islamic country and having lived there for many years, you have zero idea what you are talking about. They are banning such apps because extramarital sex, and whatever that is related to it, is illegal, because their laws are based on an ancient book that says it's not allowed. Islam does not accept homosexuality as a thing, and since a lot of Muslim countries are ruled by Islamic laws, it'd never become recognized and accepted on the government level. US laws have nothing in common with these countries' laws.3 points -

I tested it. Assuming that it had performance impact, I tried to revert to a pre-update Windows to speed up a certain x265-based video encoding project but it didn't make a difference. I even tried disabling Spectre and Meltdown protections by any means necessary to speed this project up. Long story short, I didn't get any performance difference. Exactly. but not only that, pink (and the like) is a female color. Even if that were true, what's your point? Are you saying females don't use computers? No, but it seems like males are more into general technology than females are, especially the more technical stuff and details etc. so it seems odd a browser would have colors like that (that ship with it) since one would generally have more neutral colors (like can go either way) or something definitely not affiliated with females like pink (and the like) is. but apparently it's not a default, just a option, so all should still be good for us males (while that still being a option for those who want to use it) Ahhhhh, sexist stereotypes again. It has to be a “neutral” color but not a “female” color. Why? Because only dudes use technology. That boils down to what you are saying. Sounds pretty silly and immature, doesn’t it? Almost as silly and immature as colors being gender specific. I guess the men who wear pink shirts aren’t men in your eyes? Not only pink, the original comment also read "and the like", I wonder which ones those are... 🙃2 points -

Those marketing images are so unrealistic is almost laughable Speaking as a recent projector adoptee, that amount of ambient light in the room would render the picture quality so washed out (blacks look grey, colours faded) as to be unpleasant to watch. Blackout blinds needed2 points -

Mentally ill society due to godless living practices. What's next? ######ing your own daughters? *Cuties* seems to be a homage to pedophiles like Epstein or co! As an American, we have our own pile of sh*t to take care of (this is for me and others who are Americans) "Mentally ill society due to godless living practices." Exactly. the world is going insane due to the rejection of Jesus Christ. the further someone gets from Him, the worst things tend to get. the closer they are to Him, the better things get. it's just the way it is but this does not compute for the godless left where disorder reigns supreme and time proven Christian moral order is rejected. Religion is what causes the most of the problems in this world, one lot thinking we should all follow what they believe in and another lot thinking we should all follow what they believe in, people killing people because they think some god wants them to do it. It is all a load of rubbish, no god, we all turn to dust when we die and that is the end of it.2 points -

Still not going to change the fact that he should not have been there. Owner can ask him to be there all he wants but it is not his job to do so. Plus, as far as I know, he still illegally had the weapon regardless if he crossed state lines with it or not. You have a young dumb inexperienced kid that thought he knew better than those who are trained to handle situations like this. And from the videos, he sounds like a hot head and people like that escalate issues and tensions among the people. Was reading earlier that over the weekend there was 160 or so people arrested. 100+ of those did not even live in the area. The end results is 2 dead, 1 injured, and him being arrested and brought up on charges. All this could have been avoided if he stayed home. Business owners, if they are smart, have insurance to cover things like this. And any business owner, if they asked an under aged inexperienced kid to protect their place, is an idiot. Even if he is not found guilty, still not going to change my opinion of what I said above.2 points -

I used a weapon at that age. A 22 riffle. On a private property with an adult supervising me. Personally i'll always think conceal and carry is a problem and i'll never agree with it. Only police and military should carry a firearm ready to fire. No matter the age. If i would live in a city where people can walk on the road with a gun loaded and ready to fire i would move to another city. If no city would be available in my country i would try to move to another country if possible. The last thing i would want is to be involved in a dispute with someone carrying a gun ready to fire knowing that he can legally kill me at anytime because he taught i was dangerous. If i had to avoid people and run away from them because they are armed then it means for me that i'm not free anymore.2 points -

Lenovo announces a premium Android tablet with an OLED display, a new Smart Clock, and more
margrave reacted to tsupersonic for a topic
Everyone has suddenly started overpricing everything? Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, NVIDIA, now Lenovo. The full Lenovo Smart Clock itself is not worth more than $25 and this essential version should be $20. What they should have done with the Lenovo Smart Clock is put a 3.5mm output jack on it. People let Apple get away with it so everyone else wants that same money now too. Apple charges less for the base iPad, which will be supported longer, and be more functional as a tablet (software ecosystem, hardware accessories, etc.). And that iPad will still will have xCloud, Stadia, and any other game streaming service blocked. Yes! What a stupid decision by Apple. I really wish Apple would open up access for xCloud, Stadia, and others.1 point -
