China: U.S. ban on TikTok, WeChat is in violation of WTO rules
ID10T and 7 others reacted to d5aqoëp for a topic
As if anyone takes China seriously these days. China seems to have got the rude shock when India and US banned TikTok and they can see businesses collapse if similar bans continue. We seriously need to move out all manufacturing from China to other countries.8 points -
China: U.S. ban on TikTok, WeChat is in violation of WTO rules
dead.cell and 4 others reacted to George P for a topic
Other countries have filed complaints to the WTO over the years about China and it's "lack" of trying to stop piracy, or over trademarks and a list of other stuff probably a mile long. I find the above poetic justice in a way, a taste of their own medicine to a degree. They'll probably moan about the ban for a bit but it will ultimately lead no where. At some point the ban itself will probably get dropped and TikTok will keep doing what's doing, but now running on some Oracle servers.5 points -

Complaining about banning nå app is a bit rich coming from the home of the great firewall where pretty every Western service or website is banned... Dear China, fair trade is both ways. Also, all those rules you have about foreign companies having to "partner' with a local company and surrender their IP, that ain't exactly fair trade either.2 points -

Bing officially rebranded to Microsoft Bing, Give with Bing expands to more markets
tsupersonic and one other reacted to scumdogmillionaire for a topic
It doesn't take long to rack them up at all. I usually just go to bing.com and click Images, then start clicking through top image searches or whatever on desktop, then pretty much the same in the mobile app. It doesn't take long. Then you do the daily sets and that racks up more throughout the week. Its a small time investment for free money 🤷♂️ EDIT: I just went to order history, since January 1 2020 I've earned $110 Amazon gift certificates. My wife would also be in a similar boat. Would have been probably $115-120, but sometimes I cash in on the games to see if I can win anything. SO $220+ dollars for using Bing Microsoft Bing? Yeah, I'll take it.2 points -

Microsoft to invest in Greek cloud services infrastructure

I don't see how Huawei has jack to do with the above. If Huawei wants to build some factory in the EU they'd be more than happy to let them do so. MS looking to build one or two datacenters in Greece, for Azure, has nothing to do with the government other than signing the paperwork and giving a big thanks. we don't need american datacenters, they don't respect our privacy we have OVH already Any data stored in the EU is subject to GDPR, so I really don't see what you're going on about here. Besides, OVH runs on wonderful American SuperMicro hardware. Go figure.1 point -

dustojnikhummer reacted to George P for a topic
Because it is easier to manage by Google and app store users. Google aside it isn't something that end users will have much of a problem with. Specially if you can get lower prices on things through a 3rd party backend. At the most you will have to enter your info over, minor inconvenience to most.1 point -

Uh oh. You got a letter that didn’t belong to you. Lets go ahead and cancel a tried and true system that’s been in use for decades, longer. The error rate of such things are probably pretty similar to the error rate of actual ballot counting/handling. I don’t have any actual numbers to support that, but the amount of nonsense the Trump campaign is spewing about mail in ballots is completely wrong. If there were massive irregularities, we’d have heard about them, time and time again, from both sides. If anything, mail in voting will continue to expand now that it has become such a wide spread topic, visible. It’ll be here long after Trump. It is a proven system. A reliable system.1 point -

No, I guess, the game had 30FPS lock for gameplay and 24FPS for cut scenes but even the fan-made patch for 30FPS for cut scenes caused audio desynchronization. Thanks for playing. It's not an observation, it's an opinion with an overly dramatic stance. Suggests you're pretty annoyed by something. If anyone is annoyed, its the person dwelling and continually posting upon what they claim to know what I feel, vs. listening to me tell my intention. All I can say is....did I trigger you? LOL. You call someone out for dwelling and yet, here you still are - clearly triggered1 point -
