  5. The usual authoritarian BS from big tech where they censor pretty much anything they simply disagree with, which is typically the truth... "To anger a conservative, lie to him. To anger a liberal, tell him the truth" - Teddy Roosevelt ; this is funny because it's true it's obvious Trump won to anyone who's not blinded by the leftist lies as there is simply no way Trump actually lost as he's obviously far more popular with the common person than Biden is. just look at the rallies etc and Trump got something like 10 million more votes than he did in 2016 and Trump's lead 'somehow' disappeared through the night when the corrupt leftists cheated. also, there is simply no way Biden is more popular than Obama was in 2008.

I fail to see how this will be helpful to anyone but law enforcement. To me, this "helps devices work better" is a BS statement, all it seems to be doing is making it easier for certain agencies to obtain easier access to the devices...

It's too bad Biden can't even remember who he is half the time, so feeling empathy will be quite a stretch. In all seriousness, being the cool nice guy doesn't automatically make you a good leader. We found that out with 8 years of #44. But hey, if the middle and lower class enjoy being screwed while the president gives you a calmly worded FU, then you got exactly what you voted for.

But hey, if the middle and lower class enjoy being screwed while the president gives you a calmly worded FU, then you got exactly what you voted for. It was thanks to President Obama that I was able to get Medicaid coverage and see a doctor for the first time in 10 years. Not a single Republican did ANYTHING to help the uninsured. They don't care about them and never will. I am lower class and directly benefitted from Obama's policies. In fact, I may not even be alive today if not for ObamaCare expanding the Medicaid expansion and allowing me to get regular checkups without having to sell off furniture to afford each doctor visit. I take an FDA orphan drug called Korlym that costs $300 per pill if you are uninsured, and must take 3 a day. Under Republicans I'd be told to 'get rekt' when I explain I can't afford to pay $900 per day on a monthly basis for the rest of my life. Under a Democrat I'm told "Here, we will help you with that." That is the stark difference between the party of greed and the party of sharing and caring. EDIT: To be fair I should also give credit to Governor Steve Beshear, a Democrat governor in my state who back in 2014 signed an executive order expanding Medicaid. And also members of Congress who fought hard to get the bill passed.

That's the trouble with tech firms, socially they're liberal but that doesn't extend to their economic beliefs; then they turn into libertarians lol. (Neo)Liberal means that they could sell and we could buy. Libertarian means that we don't want more laws. Tech firms are highly (neo) liberals because consumerism moves their business. They're libertarian in that they don't want to pay taxes. Nobody wants to pay taxes. :-3 I do. They're the cost of civilization.

  18. Good. I'm looking forward to Twitter banning that sociopathic human garbage at some point after Jan 20 at noon. I give it until Feb 1 before he violates the Twitter TOS enough to get a permban. It will be nice after Jan 20 to have a president who is capable of feeling empathy and isn't the most selfish, self-absorbed, narcissistic person in living existence. I always saw him as the narcissist and sociopath he was way before he entered politics. When he had that 'Apprentice' show. Which is when he was still a Democrat. A fact that his cult seems to conveniently overlook. Whenever I rewatch 'Boardwalk Empire' where Nucky is planning ... his own birthday party for himself ... as a fully grown adult .... it reminds me of Trump. Oh, and I couldn't possibly care less if President-Elect Joseph Biden does in fact have dementia. Which there's no medical proof of, by the way. Situations like that are why we have Vice Presidents. If he does in fact have dementia then he'd resign and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris would be sworn in. In other words, it is wholly irrelevant. Republicans seemed fine with a confirmed dementia case being president: Reagan. It didn't bother them then. Double standards.

Trump's lead didn't "somehow" disappear. It's called counting mail-in and absentee ballots, which many states don't even allow, until AFTER the Election Day votes have been counted. Are you in favor of disenfranchising anyone who doesn't vote on Election Day? That would exclude every person serving in the military from voting, as well as people like Trump (who voted with an absentee ballot this year). "censor pretty much anything they simply disagree with", you mean like Trump has been doing for 4 years now? Everything he disagrees with, no matter how truthful it's been, has always been viewed as "Fake News", written by "terrible reporters" from the "Enemy of the People". That's Authoritarian BS right there... To your point about "the usual authoritarian BS", is kinda rich considering Trump's been acting as an authoritarian his entire presidency. Furthermore, Twitter owns the service on which people Tweet. They decide the rules, and it's users are bound to abide by those rules. Sadly, people like Trump skirt those rules simply by being a "world leader" on their service. If he had been a citizen these past 4 years, his account would've been banned long ago. Biden might not be more popular than Obama (though it's cute that you admit that Obama was indeed popular), but the vast majority of Americans are simply fed up with Trump's abuse of the office. So much so, that millions more decided to vote this year, who didn't vote 4 years ago.

  28. Amazon Sidewalk is coming to turn your network into Amazon's

When I read it this morning, the first thing I did was jump into settings and verified(thankfully) it was set off. I understand the concept. If, for example, a burglar cuts my power or internet line, battery/ups powered orphaned devices would attempt to connect to nearby sidewalk devices so they can continue to offer protection/warning about what's going on. It doesn't have to be just something nefarious either. If my internet provider goes down and my neighbor is using a different one(or, like my router failing), I'll continue to have the same quality of service. It's just...no..just..no.. You can count the seconds it takes for someone to dissect this and have an easy to use tunnel into any network that has an Amazon device. I'm going to be furious if when they launch it they switch the current setting to on for everyone.

It's Twitters site they can do what they want and quoting a meme with a fake quote to support your argument ... Most states count mail in votes after the in person ones. When Trump spent months telling his supporters mail-in votes are rigged, except the one he sent in for himself of-course, wtf did you expect? It's not hard to think that a lot of democrats that dont give 2c what Tump says decided to stay at home _during a pandemic_ and vote via mail is it?

I don't think it does, but here's something: I just got mine tonight and without setting up any alternate appearance AT ALL, I show my nose, and it's fine. 40. iPhone 12 Pro Max review: Do not buy this phone

Can you detail what exactly makes it a "huge upgrade"? I've been considering trading in my 11 Pro Max which would bring the cost for me down to about $500, but I just don't see $500 worth of upgrades there. A little better camera, MagWhateverItsCalled, sure... But that doesn't seem like $500 worth to me. If I were you, I wouldn't do it either. Not from an 11 Pro/Max anyway honestly. I'm coming from the 8 Plus so it's a huge upgrade for me personally. The battery life is actually a little better on the 11 Pro/Max than it is on the 12. Comparison photos I see minor upgrades, but the biggest change being to the 6GB of RAM and the ultrawide angle taking in better light I think. This guy did a fairly good comparison between both phones and honestly, you'd be hard pressed to see the differences between the two. His vid probably did the best example of the motion stabilization differences though in the sensor module. https://youtu.be/Jy0PRfN8XsA Mrwhosetheboss did a decent comparison of the 12 Pro Max, against the Samsung and Huawei phones, which was actually interesting to see if you're looking at how it stacks up over them too. Think it's pretty interesting to see what all of them are bringing to the table at least.

  44. Microsoft Surface Pro X (SQ2) review: Still the best Windows tablet

Why would you even buy an SPX 2 over the M1 MacBook Air? The Air is cheaper ($1200 for the 256GB/16GB config), has longer battery life, and runs faster. Also, Craig Federighi said the M1 has the capability to run WoA, and it was up to Microsoft to add support, so it's probably coming soon.

  46. iPhone 12 Pro Max review: Do not buy this phone

Well, if it's as short a term of a problem as you say, I'll update this review. However, assuming Apple goes back to its usual September schedule for iPhones next year, we're only about four months away from "just wait until the next iPhone" season. Except it's not a problem of the device. You don't buy a phone that clearly doesn't have X, then shave off 3 points of a review for not having something they never advertised. Out of all the reviews I've seen, I'm sad that this was the reason to not buy the Max... not the fact that maybe the cameras aren't leaps and bounds better than the other iPhone models, or the screen size being fairly large and maybe hard to navigate with one hand... nope, THIS was the reason. A problem that would by your standards exists going back as far as the iPhone X from 3 years ago and has nothing to do with this one being the "Pro Max" of today. Yea but we weren’t in a pandemic when the X came out. And we criticize devices all the time for not having features that the OEM never promises, because their competitors do have these features. Face ID worked a year ago. Now you have to type a PIN while you’re in public. Google didn’t have this problem this year because it had the sense to add a fingerprint sensor. And by all means, for anyone that’s ok with the compromise, go ahead and buy it. It’s fantastic. People seem more mad at the rating than anything else, but it’s a big deal if you’ve actually used the competition. The thing is, if you waited until we don’t have to wear masks anymore to buy this phone, my advice would probably be to wait until the iPhone 13

Fair play Rich, you`re going to get some grief about giving it a 7 and "do not buy" tag though! Also how on earth does a weather app chew up 45GB of data in a couple of days? This is a problem I can forsee with 5G, people may have a data cap of a couple of gig, then get charged for going over at extortionate rates because some daft process gulps a shed load of data...
