YouTube will ask users to rethink before posting potentially offensive comments
psmoked and 7 others reacted to SeriouslyMaD for a topic
What far left wing terrorists find "offensive" may not be offensive to others or even anyone else at all. No one gets to decide this except the individual. If they see something that makes them cry. Block it and don't read it anymore. People will not accept being punished because someone didn't like their "mean words" in whatever regard they may come. People will say what they want. Obviously, being respectful is the first inclination, but there are people that simply do not deserve it, haven't earned it, won't ever get it. This is probably more about the faux racism, which the worst comes from White Liberals towards other races. Also where it's ok to be racist against white people but not against other races. Free Speech will never be stopped. Big Tech will be splintered into 1000 pieces before that happens.8 points -

I trust Microsoft about as far as I would a wet taco bell fart. They're another partisan far left wing terrorist group that pretends to not be evil. Just like Google, they're liars. Voting on the blockchain, independent of any ONE entity is the only way to do it. Until then, elections are completely and totally unreliable, corrupt, and completely irrelevant. This recent election secured that fact and if you don't get it, don't acknowledge it, that's your problem. If you care about America, your vote will never count until it's made secure.4 points -

Have you ever noticed why it is usually right wingers who complain about this kind of thing. It's almost like they know what they post is toxic and want to keep doing it. Have you noticed how the left always assumes only the right wants free speech? See? Two can play this game. The left wants it and acknowledges they have it. They also acknowledge companies can offer whatever limits they want on their products as long as they aren't illegal. 1A is protection on speech from government, not any other entity. Left wants free speech as long as that free speech agrees with them. That is why cancel culture exists. And yes, while 1A is against the government, in 2020 it should also apply to companies who have monopolies in certain fields. Aka Twitter and Facebook.2 points -

Figure 8 Dash and one other reacted to domboy for a topic
To me this whole conversation is a bit silly. The fact that the M1 Mac can run Windows faster than the Surface Pro X is merely academic and ultimately irrelevant outside of Apple devices. Of course it can, it's a faster chip. No surprise there. But seeing as Apple doesn't support bootcamp on the M1 machines they may never be able to dual-boot windows to begin with, and time will tell how well virtualization works out for running Windows (ARM or x86) on the ARM Macs. And unless Apple starts selling M1 chips to Microsoft that means Qualcomm is still their best choice. I doubt very many people are going to cross-shop the two devices as one is a laptop, and one is a tablet/convertible. People considering the Surface Pro X are probably also considering the Pro 7, and compared to that, the Pro X is a better device in many ways (much better battery life and slimmer fanless design). People considering a Macbook might be considering various laptop models, unless they're already invested in the Mac environment, in which case the choice is between an Intel and an ARM version of a Macbook. Of course I want to see Windows on ARM continue to improve and gain market share, and I hope Qualcomm comes out with a good successor to the 8cx. If the M1 helps motivate them to innovate that's great too.2 points -

Personally, I would have used the term "MAGAt". That one is more associated with the racist side of tRump's followers. And yes.. I agree with you. In this case, it isn't one bad apple that's ruined the barrel.. when it comes to his near all white rallies, saying Nazi's are "fine people", calling out others in govt as "Pocahontas", telling people who are not white, if they don't like living here to "go back to their own country"... etc, etc, the list is endless, it is a severe case of a ton of rotten barrels; one lined up right after the other. Not since the civil war, has any leader in our country (Proud Boys, be ready) riled up the masses in an attempt to point guns at each other. It's still happening now. GOP supporters/leaders in some states wanting to actually kill Americans for not voting for their racist/rapist/pedophile golden lamb. Maybe those that have an IQ shouldn't want to get all caught up in that.. because it's extremely difficult to separate those that don't support racism, and yet vote for someone that has made it clear since his early days of being sued for being a racist landlord.2 points -

MS needs to work with ARM to get DX12 support natively in Mali - currently that's the only thing holding back Mediatek, Exynos, Rockchip, etc. from supporting Windows 10, and MS is making a big mistake depending only on Qualcomm and high-end devices for their ARM success. If they can work with OEMs to ship affordable $200-400 devices (mini PCs, netbooks, tablets), maybe offer a 180 days free Office, and make Windows ARM freely installable image- this could help gain a lot of momentum, from both customers & developers. But knowing MS, it's obvious they're too blind to do this, and too enthusiastic about delivering too little at too high prices and disappointing the public, and then abandoning the project 3 years down the line crying 'we did everything right, we don't know what went wrong'.2 points -

Personally, I am not interested much in ARM on the desktop as I care more about performance and having the largest native apps library available than battery life. My next laptop will be a AMD Ryzen device. Saying that... TBH Rich I had problems following your logic... For the people that care about ARM on the desktop (and Windows) Qualcomm really does need to step up. They need their next gen ARM SoC out ASAP if they are going to compete with Apple on the desktop. Microsoft must be concerned since the Mac M1 laptops came out unless they don't really see ARM as the future on the desktop but more a niche platform.2 points -

Other than some fresh visual updates, and some smoother gameplay, I honestly doubt they'll make any sort of big changes to the originals. That's why I'm not big on "remasters" and all the past "HD versions" of older games. Very few devs bother to do go all in and do a complete remake like what Square did with FF7, where it's basically a whole new game.1 point -

This looks more like a project to utilize the Intel NUC than to build a legitimate Gaming PC. There are ITXs that will squeeze into this design. (Or close.) Also, if using mobile to build a desktop class PC, in 2020, an AMD 4xxx would be a better choice to offer desktop class gaming. To be clear, the i9-9890HK isn't a slacker processor, and it does offer 'desktop' class gaming, especially in the NUC configuration that can pull a bit more performance than this processor in a notebook. It will stop a 10600K in mixed performance, and also stop AMD Ryzen 3xxxx desktop processors in single core/thread performance, which matter for gaming. In general gaming, it should run neck and neck with the desktop 10600K for gaming and easily beat any of the Ryzen 3xxx desktop processors in gaming (not the 4xxx mobile processors though - see Microsoft helps AMD from Fall 2019). As for pricing, it isn't too far off. When you price out an average gaming notebook with an i9-9980HK, the 2399 isn't unreasonable, and if you configure with the Geforce RTX 3080 - the 3199 price isn't bad either, as it would cost more than that do do an eGPU with a RTX 3080 plus the notebook cost - which also would not be as fast.1 point -

Clearly you don't understand that making blanket statements and insinuations about a group of people is incredibly racist in itself... Use facts next time unless you want to be called out... There's a point where calling a racist, a racist, isn't being racist, it's a fact. Yes, if it's supported by facts. On the contrary, pulling the race card for no reason and making a blanket statement, causes arguably more damage. Those wrongful accusations have diminished the seriousness of the term, and it artificially inflates the problem. That's absolutely not okay... There's a huge difference between actions that are truly racist, and being called a racist just because the other person has no capacity for a discussion. This thread is a prime example of the latter... uh huh. How about this: Most racists are Trump voters. Almost every racist/racist org supports him. Fact. Prove it... In my experience, I see the exact opposite, but I'm not petty enough to make a rash generalization about it. Do you consider BLM and Antifa racist orgs?1 point -
