He made a video calling for peace, and it was a peaceful protest. [Then bans him saying it is inciting violence] BLM burned down neighborhoods, Trumpers smashed 3 windows... Now they're calling these people terrorists. They say 4 died making it sound like they killed 4, in reality a SS killed one and three others died of health conditions in the area. Peaceful protest = Storm Capitol Hill while results are being certified in favor of Biden. Made a video calling for peace = Called the "protestors" patriots and told them that he loves them. BLM was wrong in doing violent protests too. "4 died" does not make it sound like they killed 4, Idk why you would read it as such.11 points -

There's nothing to investigate. Every court in every state threw out the lawsuits because of a complete and utter lack of evidence supporting any claims of any widespread voter irregularities. etc. Every state that needed to do an audit because the vote was close did an audit (Georgia did THREE audits!) and certified their results. It's already been investigated by all of the states and the results have been certified. The "10 days" thing was a political stunt by craven and cynical political flacks trying to kiss up to Trump's ignorant, gullible, cowardly base for future elections. National politicians have no legal right to block a state's certified votes and even SCOTUS told these lying, corrupt sycophants to ###### off. Trump lost. The facts don't care if people understand them or not. It's true regardless.9 points -

I think considering it has been released for about a month now and it's a singleplayer game, that's not very surprising. I'm sure I saw more people commenting on how they racked up 100+ hours in just a week or so compared to other games. And does that active base statistic include people who bought it on release and then returned it? Give it a bit longer and there will be mods coming out, as well as their planned DLC which will bring some players back again.6 points -

I've seen a lot of media spin on yesterday's events in D.C.. Trump called for a peaceful march. The people who broke into the capitol were not attending the Trump speech; they were already breaking into the capitol before the speech even ended. Unfortunately, most media doesn't seem to care about presenting the accurate facts and timeline. They are making it seem like Trump led a raid on the capitol, which is incorrect.5 points -

Let's be fair, Trump has been violating platform rules and Twitter/Facebook always allowed it because he's a "prominent figure" who uses these platforms for political statements. He has been banned for violating rules (inciting violence), but I do think that this should have happened long ago, rather than waiting for his obvious loss of power. When has he incited violence? There's been a lot of word twisting, but I can't think of a time where he commanded people to hit the streets and cause trouble. Now that's a different story with the media and the people that have supported and rooted for the people rioting and burning down cities. Seems like everybody was fine with that violence... The problem here is the blatant double standard... I'll paste here another comment I made separately if you scroll below: For some people in the comments section, wise words from Dan Hodges (@DPJHodges) on Twitter: "Can we just be clear. If people launch a violent insurrection, and your direct response to their actions is to tell them "we love you, you’re very special" that's incitement. You don't need to explicitly say "go and smash entrance door 11 and make your way up the south stairs"."4 points -

Come on now, Trump knew exactly what he was doing. He got nearly 75 million votes and still managed to lose to Biden. By claiming that the election was fraudulent when numerous independent observers had verified that no widespread fraud had occurred, he indirectly caused all of this by making his supporters falsely believe that the election had been "stolen". Yes, he did not explicitly call the violent raid, but he fully knew it would happen and supported it (he called the protestors "patriots" and told them that he loves them btw), so yeah. If they called for a federal audit, then no one would feel the election is rigged. They don't trust individual states/ local leaders. They would trust the transparency of a federal audit. But the democrats said the audit would "disenfranchise people".3 points -

This is easy to laugh at because it's Microsoft and how things turned out in the long run. But let's not pretend this same attitude has always worked out for Nintendo. The same "we don't need anybody else" attitude is how they screwed up the Sony deal and why Playstation has outsold Nintendo in the living room virtually ever since. Nintendo, as a business, is kind of a crapshoot. As much as I love some of my 3DS/Switch collection, I can't deny they seem to survive solely on name, an obsolete reputation, and a handful of exclusive IP. They certainly aren't riding high quality hardware, brilliant online features, cutting edge gameplay, or competitive pricing. 🤷♂️3 points -

No it's not. You don't have a right to free speech on Youtube or any other business. "The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws which regulate an establishment of religion, or that would prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press, the freedom of assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, as one of the ten amendments that constitute the Bill of Rights." "Although the First Amendment applies only to state actors,[1] there is a common misconception that it prohibits anyone from limiting free speech, including private, non-governmental entities." The first amendment only prohibits a state actor (a person who is acting on behalf of a governmental body) from limiting someone's ability to speak freely.2 points -

I'd argue dwelling on how other people feel about him is an equally sad way to live. That's a pretty sad deflection... Are you going to share something of substance to the conversation, or are you just here to run your mouth and attack me? I am not attacking you. If you feel it applies to you, then...well that's all on you, because I certainly didn't say it. You are doing plenty of attacking here...don't try to place blame on others. Bring critical as a participant of the conversation is different than your shoot-and-retreat tactic... Again, if all you're going to do is troll and deflect the conversation, then please take that elsewhere. We'd like to stay on topic... Say what? Does Trump actually have to say the words "Go riot at the Capital and storm the fences and doors" for you to be able to see how he incited it? Cults (which most Trump followers are in) do not require their leader to do that as most members of a cult are so brain washed that it isn't even required for them to do what their leader is implying. It's about time Facebook did this also! He said lets march over to the capitol building, and shout for our congress, to object to the electoral college. He then heard they smashed some windows and made a video on twitter and Facebook, asking for them to peacefully go home. He did not incite violence, he asked for a peaceful protest and it was much more peaceful than any other US protest I had seen. There's always a couple idiots who want to smash stuff and incite a riot. Anyways the protest backfired and the dems used it against him in the objections and most republicans dropped their objections. The objections were to only have a federal audit where previously only states were allowed to audit their own.2 points -

This is terrible. There's already the Microsoft News app for this kind of stuff. Plus the Taskbar should not become overcrowded with system nonsense. They need to revamp Live Tile functionality as it hasn't really improved since they released Windows 10. There are too many apps that don't offer all types of Live Tile sizes, sometimes the social media/communication apps don't refresh the Live Tiles with updates, not to mention that all the cool Live Tile features in Windows Phone never made it to the desktop version (like photo background, consistent tile background shade, etc.). Microsoft should integrate the exploding Tiles concept they had looked into before, make content previews in Live Tiles allow you to jump straight to it rather than just launching the app's home screen, offer more widget functionality, and other stuff.2 points -

Nintendo always feels like a hit or miss company, they got a hit with the Wii but a miss with the Wii U and going back through their history, that's how they seem to go. I suspect sooner or later, their luck could run out where they end up with two misses on the trot and fold like Sega did, after all, Nintendo is much smaller than Microsoft and Sony are. There is a major difference between Nintendo and Sega. Sega's only major successful dedicated game console was the Genesis/Mega-Drive. In addition, Nintendo (like many other more traditional Japanese companies) hordes a safety chest that allows them to ride the low points of the industry. Their management strategy specifically anticipates that given they are in the entertainment business, there is a substantial risk regarding the products they develop and that they need to be prepared (again this is not unusual for these more conservative companies and it comes with its own downsides as well). In addition, Nintendo has been in the broader entertainment business since 1899 and in the video game business specifically since 1977, and their management has organically evolved, so I suspect they understand the risks in this business.2 points
