  1. Donald Trump has been permanently banned from Twitter

Before people start crying about freedom of speech, please do your research on what that really means. With that, Trump, is probably ironically in the process of creating a TikTok account.

Yikes, y'all's theatrics never stop. "Everything I don't like is communism," says the petulant online conservative. Guess what? He's free to say whatever he wants on Parler. No one is stopping him. He does not have the right to a Twitter Inc. account. No one does. It was all cool and okay when McCarthy did it right? Or was McCarthyism itself communism too? Please read a book about political theory and educate yourself on what words mean.

It’s amazing how many “patriots” don’t actually understand the protections the 1st amendment offers. Twitter banning Trump doesn’t violate Trumps freedom of speech. For the simple fact that Twitter is not a government service. It’s a private service that can ban whoever they want. Twitter also assumes a liability for its users, who use its service to break the law. It really is that simple.

  7. See the thing is, Parler still removes content it deems unfit. It's not free for all. In fact, Parler's terms specify you can't make violent threats etc. And you people don't care. You only care when it's your side that's affected. Is Parler anti free speech for not allowing illegal content on that website?

And here comes communism. Do not dare have a different opinion. Trump called for peace and told everyone to go home. But [THEY] censored it. Now their preventing the President from talking to the 80 million people who voted for him. 133 million registered voters. 75 million to Trump. How is it mathematically possible Biden got 80 million? We all know he cheated, and we are the overwhelming majority. Treason.

Screenshot this post. No need. I can already find pictures of bull ###### on the Internet just fine. There is NO EVIDENCE to support the Low IQanon conspiracy nonsense. NONE. Meanwhile, the TRUTH is that Trump has lied over 30,000 times now since coming to office. https://www.independent.co.uk/...glenn-kessler-b1782752.html He is a pathological liar, an infamous con-man (who has been a crook all his life), and a textbook malignant narcissist. https://www.uu.nl/en/node/541/...d-trump-textbook-narcissist He's quite obviously played a whole bunch of ignorant, gullible, cowardly people for utter and complete fools, using the same fearmongering, fascist tactics used by every would-be fascist demagogue throughout history. https://washingtonmonthly.com/...y-warning-signs-of-fascism/ These are facts. The truth doesn't care if you believe or even understand it.

This is exactly why, Trump, was banned. Speech, with no legitimate evidence to back it up. Now how do we get the evidence OUT TO THE PUBLIC WHEN ITS BANNED EVERYWHERE AS 'CONSPIRACY'? So many affidavits, videos, interviews, hearings, etc etc but NON of you know about them. You can even see the votes suddenly drop and magically change results live on the fake news. BU YOU STILL DENY IT Presidential Emergency Alert System. The storm is coming folks. Things are going to get wild, but by the end of it all, you will know the truth. Trump never loses. "cOmuNisM", do you people have no brains or something? Trump was forced to read from a teleprompter after a cop had been hit, after a woman had been shot, after others were hurt. So spare me the theatrics. and to answer your (very dumb) question, people can register to vote.. you know weeks, days and even same day in most states. To make it easier for you: 74 + 81 = 152 152 - 133 (according to you) = 19 19 million new registered voters. Ta da! All re-counted and certified in the contested states.

He did not, he incited violence. Later, after everyone saw what happened and he was banned from social media, his wife made him do the video asking for peace.

First of all, according to U.S. census bureau, there are more than 157 million registered voters (https://www.census.gov/newsroom/stories/election-day.html) , and second, even there are only "133 million registered voters", your logic still does not make sense, you said "75 million to Trump. How is it mathematically possible Biden got 80 million?", but follow your logic, we can also say "80 million to Biden. How is it mathematically possible Trump got 75 million?". Therefore, your conclusion is not based on fact, but based on assumption that Trump "did" win which does not have any solid evident to support it.

  26. If Trump supporters used it, they would probably remove that tool. Not if those Trump supporters stopped calling for a violent uprising and calling for individual people to be murdered. You far right crowd always play the victim. Stop acting like violent extremists on these apps and you won't get banned and if the apps themselves moderate appropriately they won't be removed. It's not rocket science.

  27. Private companies like Facebook, Twitter and also Neowin have Terms of Service, and you AGREE to them before signing up. If you break the rules as stated in these terms, you can get banned. It's like that on any forum, website etc. run by a company. Break the rules, and you get punished for it. A lot of people these days seem to have a very warped image of what 'free speech' actually is, and start shouting 'dictatorship' and 'censoring' without really thinking. In the EU there's a lot of stuff that can be said freely , but there's also stuff that you say will get you into legal trouble really quickly. Free speech, like anything else, has it's limitations before it becomes something more sinister. It's sad that due to social media people have been living in bubbles for quite some time now, amplifying their own 'believes' with other in the same bubble. Some of the responses above show that. We need some kind of reform on anything 'social media' to get out of this problem, but I don't keep my hopes up for now.

  32. "We will not cave to pressure from anti-competitive actors! We will and always have enforced our rules against violence and illegal activity. But we WONT (sic) cave to politically motivated companies and those authoritarians who hate free speech!" I agree 100%. but those corrupt leftist major social media platforms are just abusing their power to censor viewpoints they don't agree with under the guise of other BS. the major social media platforms are basically getting more and more authoritarian, especially very recently. people will naturally rebel against that crap. the left is in a rush towards communism basically and many are blind and don't see it. p.s. hell, they censored a recent Rudy Giuliani video to he posted hours ago now named... 'What really happened on January 6th?'.

  34. Donald Trump has been permanently banned from Twitter

My concern is there will be a new equivalent social media, which probably already exists, but that has none of the social/legal liability. And I fear this will be used by those who support him, and again recruit not only more people, but have even more extreme views than many of those people have (gun rights, capital punishment, anti-vaxxes, etc). He's the POTUS for gods sakes, Twitter has only been around the past few years, and suddenly he cannot govern without it? Having said that, I think the reason Trump was so keen on Twitter is because it was the one app on the phone that he (arguably) mastered. If he's anything like my dad, if they even just change a pixel in the icon, that's the end, everything is different, how do I do the twitter?? Where is the button to post things??! What is this weird bird icon?? You mean a service like, Parler? That's already the place many of Trump's sycophants are flocking. They don't have the same level of moderation and control over what their users say or do. Which is probably why Google has removed them from Google Play. Remains to be seen if Apple follows suit. Apple just gave them a 24-hour window to comply prior to removal from the App store. News just broke a few hours ago actually. https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...from-app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow" style="user-select: auto;">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...from-app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...from-app-store-11610148297" rel="external nofollow">https://www.wsj.com/articles/a...-from-app-store-11610148297 That's fair, makes it interesting to see how Parler reacts to it. While it's completely within Apple's right to do so, I still think it's ######. Do you think Apple and Google should distribute apps that access crap like this? https://cdn.arstechnica.net/wp.../ErIuat_W8AAzhB-.jpeg" rel="external nofollow">https://cdn.arstechnica.net/wp...21/01/ErIuat_W8AAzhB-.jpeg" rel="external nofollow">https://cdn.arstechnica.net/wp...021/01/ErIuat_W8AAzhB-.jpeg https://arstechnica.com/tech-p...er-from-android-app-store/" rel="external nofollow">https://arstechnica.com/tech-p...ler-from-android-app-store/ I do not agree with that nor do I agree with them storming the capital, every single person who breached that door should have been shot dead for all I'm concerned. But I don't like the fact that big companies can come together as a whole and remove a platform. it probably won't be long before Amazon terminates the website being hosted on AWS. At the end of the day, you abide by the company’s rules since it is their platform. Or don’t and potentially suffer consequences. That’s how it works. They agreed to those rules before using the service.

"Stop acting like violent extremists on these apps " Twitter and Facebook were used by BLM and ANTIFA during the 5 months of riots, to kill 26 people, loot, burn, destroy hundreds of businesses, beat up dozens of store owners, kill or wound 11 cops. Yet Apple and Google still allow both of those apps. Another article I read quoted the owner of this Parler app saying the Trump rally riots were not organize using this app but Facebook was because this app has no way to organize events.

You won't be missed. And neither will Trump. In fact, Trump may be looking for a way to leave the country ASAP, since Impeachment #2 is pending, with a good chance of succeeding in his removal. Even though it may seem pointless to remove him less than 2 weeks before Biden is sworn in, if removed will prevent him from running for public office, ever again. His actions this week led to the deaths of at least 5 people. Their blood is on his hands. And anyone who doesn't believe he's responsible for this, should be considered co-conspirators.
