RGB masks now? Horrendous! I truly despise the RGB craze going on. It’s even hard to buy high end hardware nowadays without that abomination included. I tried 6 months ago, on a $3000 build. Nope, I have to deal with those stupid lights.5 points -

I hope this "major overhaul" delivers more than just an undocking of the start menu from the corner of the screen by a few pixels. I struggle to see any other changes in the mockup image above that would constitute being labelled "major".3 points -

Got the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine
tsupersonic and one other reacted to Barney T. for a topic
Hi All, Just a PSA, As a front line health care worker, I received the 1st of two COVID vaccines last Wednesday. I wanted to get it due to my age and exposure to COVID-19 patients on a daily basis. I must say that despite a sore arm and one day of some malaise, I feel fine. Going back for #2 dose during the first week of January. I am extremely grateful for the many scientists, researchers, and volunteers who did the research on this vaccine. I am blessed to be one of the first to get it and encourage others to do the same. Yes, there were two (so far) who had reactions, but this is expected in a huge population getting the vaccine. There will be a few who don't tolerate it. Please consider getting whatever vaccine is offered to you. COVID-19 is no joke and the residual effects are horrid. Best always to all of my fellow Neowinians this holiday season!2 points -

But please refrain from using this archaic, outdated form of address. It belongs to the Victorian era; nowadays, it's just tacky and sexist. Ahem. Like "Ladies and Gentlemen", "good sir or madam" is precisely the OPPOSITE of "sexist", by definition. I'm making sure I am addressing a man or a woman, instead of making an assumption (typically male, patriarchal). So, no, I'll use it whenever and wherever I want. Especially when I want to be extra polite and/or formal (with a hint of funny), which is what I was actually doing. Meanwhile, please refrain from posting with a stick up your keister.2 points -

i DOUBT IT. it has NOTHING to do with your conservative stuff, and mass exodus from Twitter and ###### down parler. don't kid yourself. Have you read the article? Guess NOT. 94% of the new users are NOT from USA. It is about something else, Whatsapp changing the terms and conditions to share you data with Facebook. This is a completely different GLOBAL issue for Whatsapp users all around the world. Nothing to do with anything else happening in USA,. So, no, you assessment is very distant from truth.2 points -

Why do you think the ribbon API hasn't been utilised much since 2007?
+Dick Montage reacted to Elliot B. for a topic
Aside from Microsoft programs, the API hasn't had much use. This topic was triggered by me seeing how many options are in the menus within Adobe Photoshop 2020. The Edit menu alone has 30 or so options, many with sub-options. With Photoshop, it may be workflow-related. Still, it's a shame more programs didn't adopt it.1 point -

Part of the problem here is, you ban one person while allowing others to keep posting the same kind of hate and unrest. Rules need to be applied to all who violate them at the time the violation occurs. Not when the ###### has already hit the fan.1 point -

A Blonde joke
Brandon H reacted to jnelsoninjax for a topic
An attractive blonde from Cork, Ireland arrived at a casino in Australia. She seemed a little intoxicated and bet $25,000 on a single roll of the dice. She said “I hope you don’t mind but I feel much luckier when I’m completely nude” With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled “Come on baby, mama needs new clothes!” As the dice came to a stop she yelled “YES! YES!, I WON! I WON!” She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed. The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded. Finally one of them asked “What did she roll?” The other answered “I don’t know, I thought you were watching”1 point
