If you can block people who send you some stupid DMs then that should be fine. But I also agree that if these individuals have a history of doing the same to lots of other people they should be banned for good. At that point there's no need for you to be on the platform anymore, so bye bye.3 points -

These accounts are inciting violence, you should see what these so called protestors did on 26th jan, more than 400 policemen were wounded, capitol hill was nothing compared to what happened on 26th January. They even waved their religious flag throwing Tricolor from the red fort on the very day of Republic day of India. This is nothing but a mockery, Indian govt has done nothing against these goons, they're still roaming free, such actions on online activities is not gonna stop this madness. "They even waved their religious flag throwing Tricolor from the red fort on the very day of Republic day of India." - and now Neowin comments section needs anti Fake News system lmao. "Indian govt has done nothing against these goons" - right, people just love protesting outdoors in the harsh of the winter for fun.2 points -

My biggest critique of this, is that not only did they manage to lose space for 1 or 2 quick settings, but they have huge circles and then only the tiniest of icons at the center. No way people over 65 are going to be able to see that. It is an incredible waste of space on one of the smallest, most expensive screens most people own.2 points -

You think we're drones? All you do is repeat conspiracy theories created by others over and over and over. You're mind is the one controlled by a bunch keyboard warrior conspiracy theorists while a majority of us are in fact critically thinking. They know the people who listen to them are very impressionable because they feel hurt about something or feel wronged by society so they seek alternative realities like yourself. Sometimes, reducing your expectations a bit about yourself and others will help you reduce your own disappointments. (wanted to find a quote from a song, but couldn't find it)1 point -

Too late for that I'm afraid. The genie is well and truly out of the bottle. Social media is a money making and user data gathering goldmine. Even if FB were to fall over tomorrow another two or three would bob up to take their place. The social media egg can't be unscrambled so all we can do now that we realize the damage it can do is do our best to control it and limit the damage and all I can say to that is...good luck!1 point -

About 80% of all Child Predators and content come from Facebook Messenger world wide. Why does Apple, Amazon and Facebook condone this filth? They can sure moderate and remove bible verses and pictures of Jesus with efficiency. The wrong think and dissent is certainly squashed rather quickly but if you want to traffic a 13 year old, Facebook is out to lunch. Amazon supports it.1 point -

Intel sues engineer that went to Microsoft for allegedly stealing intel
Tuskd reacted to Fleet Command for a topic
Legal doctrines explicitly dismiss this line of reasoning. Even if people at Microsoft read the documents several times, memorized them by heart, re-wrote them as songs, and danced to those songs in karaoke, justice does not take the case until Intel can prove that some damage has resulted from them. There is even a Latin term for this: de minimis non curat lex.1 point -
Intel sues engineer that went to Microsoft for allegedly stealing intel
drjekel_mrhyde reacted to +E.Worm Jimmy for a topic
Wait. Microsoft only disclosed it after reading the docs. They reported it to Intel. Maybe So they don't have rat in their ranks? Funny either way. Ms clearly don't want none of that. And the guy is faxed now. But MS did get the knowledge - no way they saw what it is and did not read it to investigate1 point -
You won't be able to run 11th-gen 'Rocket Lake' CPUs on B460 and H410 chipset boards
PeterTHX reacted to Fleet Command for a topic
Give me a break. Compatibility with those platforms was NEVER advertised. And chances are if you care about the enhancements that much you don't have those chipsets. The guy has a point. Intel still has this problem when upgrading to a newer chip. You downgraded the OP's comment from "screws customers" to "has chip problems". Sure, AMD is the better CPU maker; that's not evidence of Intel's malevolence.1 point -

For me the only thing I started to hate about Android is the runaround you get now with notification preferences split between the app itself and within Android notification settings, and one app could have 20 notifications for every little thing that isn't even described in a way that most people can understand. Oh and some apps just reset the preferences with an update, so you're forever editing ****ing notifications. It is like they saw Facebooks multiple pages of settings and thought "hey now that's a great idea!" 🙄1 point -

Outlook 2019 & Notes
Cosmin reacted to Nick H. for a question
To do that, I think the only option would be to convert the OST file to a PST file and then import the PST file on the other computer. But that will probably come with other issues and do more harm than good. For what you want, I think you're right to look at OneNote. It offers plenty of functionality like what you're looking for, and I think there is some form of integration with Outlook - but again, this is something I can check tomorrow. The in-built notes option for Outlook seems to be more of an on-the-fly note taking module, something to quickly jot something down and then delete once you've finished with it.1 point
