  5. Facebook will soon show less political content on your News Feed

Maybe Facebook should disallow posting any 3rd-party content. Keep it to personal updates and photos only... not newspaper articles and other external content.

What's your favorite media player on Windows? previously Potplayer but now I'm using Windows Movies & TV Windows Movies & TV is terrible with files that contain multiple audio streams and subs. Often it doesn't even see subs in the file. I gave up quickly on that one.

  10. Facebook will soon show less political content on your News Feed

Facebook just needs to go away forever and NEVER come back. The small amount of good that pathetic service provides is nothing compared to the trainwreck load of uselessness it contains. Its non-existence will be the best thing for humankind.

  14. Microsoft announces new U.S. datacenter region

The naming probably indicates the region each center covers more than the actual place they're located in. If you name it Chicago or Atlanta then it sounds like it just covers that specific city.

  15. They should have made this thing thicker, and give it a 4000 mAh battery. Consider many have reported the glass popping out from the back, making it thicker might have been beneficial as well. Maybe they were seeing how thin as possible they could make it. Also, they need to use aluminum instead of the plastic they used for the body/frame of the device. A lot of people have reported the frame just cracking in random places. Also, it can't be more than 1000 dollars in the U.S. I guess the 1400 dollar initial price tag was to compensate for the limited market that a device like this would have.

  18. Man, can I just say I hate Facebook? Like... maybe I'm just getting to that age, but I hate everything about it. Toxic people. Armchair activists. Sensitive people. Aggressive people. People sharing their Ben Garrison comics and whatever the leftist equivalent is. Bad memes. Whatever. I only have it as a glorified rolodex in case I lose someone's number or to keep up with a couple friends on Android because SMS sucks. I just can't stand the platform and would've shut it off years ago if Spotify and some other stuff wasn't tied to it. And man, I'm tired of feeling guilty for not telling someone I haven't talked to in 3 years Happy Birthday when I really don't care. Am I bad person? Probably. I just find it all to be a bunch of noise and small talk. And yeah, I realize you guys might not agree, and that's cool. I'm just venting man. Send me back to the mountains and you'll never hear from me again lol

Often it doesn't even see subs in the file. I gave up quickly on that one. I don't have these issues. It doesn't work on multiple machines here, so I guess my video files are somehow faulty, or you are very lucky. I stick with MPC-HC, it will works as expected for me

  26. I'm so glad for this. Theming as a concept has been so ignored in the tech industry over the past few years. This reminds me of the good old days of theming anything and everything...I hope this sticks and other companies/apps follow suit.

  38. Question about PoE

It works great and there is no special cabling needed. Just use standard high quality ethernet cables. You just need a POE switch or a POE injector to provide power to the device.

  40. Facebook will soon show less political content on your News Feed

It would be great for them to add options for users to block ALL political and religious posts from their feeds. It remains to be seen what will happen with their own filters for blocking. They said they were blocking fake news posts during the 2016 election, but yet nothing was blocked. Same for the 2020 election.

Good lord man, you really have lost the plot. BTW, making multiple accounts just to abuse others really does perfectly sum up your lack of integrity as a human being. Congratulations on being part of the problem rather than part of the solution. You are wasting your time... He has demonstrated over his comment history no ability to critically think at all. Based on his "5 new branches of Government" remark he probably needs medication. It's sad...

  48. You won't be able to run 11th-gen 'Rocket Lake' CPUs on B460 and H410 chipset boards

AMD has been creating two new sockets every two years. You can't insert a Ryzen Threadripper into an AM3+ socket or even into a TR4. So, no, you can't. 2 years? That's bull, AM4 came out in 2017 (AM3+ came out in 2011!) and is still used by current gen Ryzen chips (and next gen Ryzen as well). Ryzen 5000 is officially compatible with B450 boards which came out in early 2018 and unofficially compatible with 1st gen boards by some OEMs. TR4/TRX4 is Threadripper only but Threadripper always had separate sockets compared to Ryzen, as does Intel for LGA1200 and LGA2066. You can't put a an i9 10980XE on a LGA1200, even thought they were release at the same time. AM4 and FP4 in 2015, TR4 and SP3 in 2017, and sTRX4 and FP5 in 2019. So, no, you are wrong. You have no idea what you are talking about, not only is your timeline incorrect (AM4 did NOT come out in 2015) you are mixing different processor lines. AM4 is for consumer chips (Ryzen), 2017-now. TR4 is for prosumer chips (Threadripper), 2017-2019, TRX4 2020-now. SP3 is for server chips (Epyc), 2017-now. FP4/FP5 is a BGA chip, Ball Grid Array, it's not a socket it's for embedded and laptop chips, ie soldered chips NOT user replaceable. If we apply the same logic for Intel you have: -Consumer : LGA1151v1 (2015-2017), LGA1151v2 (2018-2019), LGA1200 (2020-2021) -Prosumer: LGA2066 (2017-2019), (nothing released in 2020) -Server: FCLGA3647 (2016-2020)
