  1. Google promises 100 games coming to Stadia in 2021

Anyone even cares? Not to mention their model is stupid. You need to re-buy whatever you already have. Or buy something from scratch on a platform that may or may not exist in the near following years. I don't think anyone asks themselves that when considering games on Steam, Origin, GOG or similar.

In pain? Why not join a tech news site! If you are in pain sufficiently to ask strangers online who have no displayed or suggested knowledge in the area, surely it's sufficient to ask a medical professional?

10.5m is nothing when the company knew they were doing wrong and didn’t do anything to fix it. That’s wilful and the punishment should be more severe

  7. UK court to decide whether Uber drivers are employees

Same way reddit, snapchat, tesla all keep going, they're not really making a loss, they're just hiding money flows and profits through clever accounting techniques. No real company is going to operate for 10 years without making a single profit, it wouldn't make any sense and their investors would lose all they've put in.

If either "side" can't converse without resorting to racist, sexist and religious abuse, then I wouldn't want them on my platform either.

  9. Logitech MX Master 3 - change order for devices..

I don't think G series products support it since it's built into the logitech options software and not the g hub. Also I just ran a cable, can confirm that it works when you have one dedicated nic to the host machine and one dedicated to the vm network

  10. Intel Evo vs Apple Silicon part five: Software

The behavior was opt-out, not opt-in. Apple asked developers if they did not want to be included. For any developer that didn’t respond by unchecking a checkbox, their iOS app was included as installable on macOS.

  11. Logitech MX Master 3 - change order for devices..

Doesn't matter which version you own, they're actually the same and can pair with the same devices, the only difference with the Mac one is it doesn't come with the Unifying receiver, the usb dongle) Also my scroll is set up normal. and I don't use it with an iPad (actually dont own a modern ipad, my ipad is an iPad 2 and no longer used). For your scrolling issue, try going into the Settings app -> General -> Mouse and Trackpad and turn off Natural Scrolling

Wait what?? Come' on...read a book, read 5...read 10 ! Learn it on Youtube...sometihng You think this implies because of "america" ?? You think the world is this pretty and anything negative is about capitalist better than commmunism? Rich become richer? No, please no... Think outside the box. How do you think business run...they are based on making profit. Don't like it, create one on your own. Every week there is a new guy being an entrepreneur. There are several new companies that are created because they don't like the current model. They DO something for the good of others (creating better jobs) instead of only ranting.

  16. Intel Evo vs Apple Silicon part five: Software

"Oh, and if I take a video with my iPhone and want to edit it on a PC, I just AirDrop it." I get the Apple integration love, but be sure you understand normal workflows that you might not have used or noticed. I have never had to 'drop' or even touch a phone to edit a video. This is going back to WP7 and Android for several years. The idea of manually having to fiddle with transferring something like a video is crazy, and then claiming that the 'fiddle' part is better with Apple, is just weird. There are also 'manual/fiddly' options you may be over looking, with Bluetooth and WiFi dropping of media from devices goes back to the Windows 7 days. AirDrop's best feature, is Apple users all knowing about it and using it. Microsoft is bad at this, as there are tons of features they never showcase. But, that doesn't mean the technology or ease of workflow doesn't exist. With that said. Thanks for the article, it is a good take on things for readers.

  17. Intel Evo vs Apple Silicon part five: Software

he said everything works on windows "Here's the deal when it comes to software. Everything works on Windows unless you're trying to make an Apple product work; however, if you've got a Dell, more Apple stuff works. There are also a bunch of issues with the Apple M1 right now, such as Adobe CC apps being in beta, OneDrive not working well, and a lack of Windows 10 support in Parallels."

Only Capitalist States of America allows essential workers to be treated like garbage, so rich people can continue to be richer as both cheer on that this is some 'Freedom from Communism' garbage. Good luck trying that BS in Europe.

  24. Kingdom Hearts games head to PC as Epic Games Store exclusives

Robbing them by charging the same as other platforms like Nintendo or Sony? Also, are they really gonna take those profits back to the employees that worked on the game? If so great, but something tells me that's not what's gonna happen at all. Let's be realistic here at least... Just a quick reminder that Gabe Newell is a literal, actual $10-billionaire, and he made almost all of that money from taking a personal cut of every Steam purchase. Valve is a private company -- for the most part, that 30% cut doesn't go anywhere other than his personal fortune. How much money does one man need? Why even -slightly- stick up for his capability to make even more money off of the rest of us? Every year, Steam continues to add features that are good for both the developer and the consumer. This idea that all the money goes to Gabe is conjecture at best, but he's also not the ones treating his employees like crap is he ala Jeff Bezos, is he? Either way, just look at some of the damn features. Reviews for example helping you determine if a game is good by your own peers helps consumers keep from buying titles, especially if they have issues specific to the store itself. I recall a couple games having issues specifically with the EGS version. Microsoft, despite all their issues, at least have honest reviews so you can see if people are having problems with their version of the game... Tagging is another thing that's big on Steam that helps find niche genres of games, something that's helped niche titles increase sales for their potential audience (e.g. searching "roguelike") Early Access... I can't detail all the games I've enjoyed that fall in this category. Yes, there is bad with good in here, but it's undeniably been a blessing for small devs starting out and growing their base. Couple this with VR support, how exactly would you even find such titles on EGS? How is Epic helping these developers exactly? The best Epic has to offer isn't with their platform so much as it is their Unreal Engine, which I will give them credit for. It's also worth noting the various ways Steam suggests content to you, based on your interests or games you've played, which again... helps developers get their game in front of those actually interested. It's not that Steam just has a massive audience, but that they've spent time getting the right games in front of the right people. They also help people to COME BACK to those titles with curated news based on what people are playing. I went back to play the Path of Exile update for example because I saw they had a new league out. If you're a developer, especially one that updates content for free, this stuff is a godsend that will enable those devs to not just produce a game that gets hyped up, only to later fall by the wayside... but to help maintain a healthy active player base. All that being said, talk about Gabe if you want. I really don't care. You just haven't bothered answering the idea of how Square Enix is going to go back and make sure those employees that actually worked hard to make those games are actually being compensated here... They're selling EA games too right? I'm sure EA needs more money so they can ensure their CEO is paid top dollar right up there with Bobby effing Kotick. Thank you Epic! Bravo!

"because they remove anything they don't like which basically boils down to those telling the truth (i.e. generally conservatives)" So much brainwashing going on. Conservatives and liberals both lie. If you believe that a political party is overall honest...you ate up their propaganda just like they wanted you to.

While the last ep ending was interesting there is still a lack of content IMO. 30min eps are just not cool and I'm to the point I'll likely stop watching till its all done. I'd rather they would have made a movie vs what they've done and just released it on Disney+. It seems very good, just not a fan of how they are breaking it up with such little available each week with 20mins of credits on top of it.

This isn't what the current drama is about though. This program was ready for release last October but Google held it back when the Australian Government flagged their new requirements on Google. Unless I'm misinterpreting the article this initiative by Google doesn't meet the Government policy regulations.

I needed a better desk. All desks are either too expensive, have impractical shapes or are too small. So I and my dad bought a few wooden boards and screwed them to my current table. So much space for pretty much no money.
