  1. Isn't the phrase "hate speech" massively open to personal interpretation*, and as such "finding hate speech" can also be a commentary upon the user as much as the site? * Yes there are some obvious things that clearly define hate speech, but it's also opinion based.

  5. I mean, we had to implement timeclocks with fingerprints mostly because people were taking long lunches or doing personal errands throughout the day and having people clock in and out for them. I hated implementing the systems, just as I'm sure they hated using it, but they wouldn't have had to do that if it wasn't for abuse of the systems to begin with.

  10. oh you're one of those pass One of what? Why did you reply to me? So stupid, without any grammar. It was a joke about hate speech. But if you can't find "hate" then you're blind or dumb. Everything is considered hate now, from these pansies.

Ah, the rich pickings of Oranmore, a town of 5,000 residents. Good idea in principle but still smells like a a marketing ploy rather than a viable use of technology, at least for the moment.

I'll wait for product reviews and testing before commenting too much on the quality of NZXT products, but their recent issues with the H1 riser debacle, Z series AIO pumps, and their lack of customer focus don't give me high hopes for a quality engineered B550 offering.

  21. Windows 10 is getting all-new icons in the File Explorer

They need to push out the icon releases independently, allowing for faster releases because there will be minimal to no testing needed. This would also allow them to pump out multiple icon pack releases to allow more user choice. Tying limited icon updates to a Windows feature release causes them to lose priority and has been the problem with the mess that is multiple icon styles existing, even from Windows 3.1.

  23. There are certainly reasons for some sites to enable HTTPS, and most likely those sites already have. Google has no business demanding every site confirm to their standards though. If I want to put up a special interest site somewhere, google has no right to interfere in how I want it presented, or to force me to use certificates to "make it secure". We can tell you didn’t read the article.

  30. Yahoo mail issues

Probably can't help you on this one I'm afraid. That said, I think the solution is to move off of Yahoo mail and on to just about any other platform. I didn't even know after all the security issues Yahoo has had over the years that they even HAD live email service anymore nor why anyone would want to continue using it. Good luck man

  31. They had several vehicles stolen in this area (KC, MO), so it makes sense to verify the drivers, which would stop this. Also reducing insurance claims and lost items. Theoretically keeping costs down and prices lower. As far as privacy, it's not any different that being in a cubicle with a camera. They are at work and should be working. Not to mention distracted driving being a huge issue nowadays, as well. It's not a privacy issue since they're aren't or shouldn't be doing "private things". It's a job. Min of you fail to look at the bigger picture here Semi truck driver don't need this as they got on board GPS Tracker and Auto Theft lockdown and this is only going make the problem become worse for delivery driver as he or she will be force at gun point in stead of the criminal fleeing with vehicle so theory is kind all ready flawed. What?

This is probably ok, but... This is also one of the best ways to jam malware into computers. People might want to avoid installing something like an OS from any location that is not officially Microsoft. There is always one guy like you... Except this pulls straight from Microsoft's servers.

  36. Possible Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 shows up on Geekbench

FYI: the Qualcomm's numbers are under emulation since there is no UWP GeekBench app. The M1's numbers posted above are Native scores. The M1's numbers under Rossetta 2 emulation are single-core and multi-core scores of 1,313 and 5,888 respectively. I'm guessing you want a source right? Here you go: http://www.macrumors.com/2020/...ip-emulating-x86-benchmark/ So, the Qualcomm chip isn't that far off; especially if the Qualcomm is a 7nm chip. PS: You're welcome.

  39. I'm not sure why people are upset about this, such techs are invented to do such things, no? They're keeping their business safe, why would anyone cry about privacy when they're on the job. It's not like Amazon will track them after their working hours, if that's what they do, it's a crime and punishable by law.

Oh that's lovely. I like!! Tasteful and (at least for the special folder icons), helps to visually distinguish one folder from the other. Is not a pointless and ugly visual redesign.

  46. Can they legally do that? If they're already employees, then Amazon should need to provide something in return for them to impose greater restrictions. New hires would be a different story. Sounds like they should be hiring some lawyers, and ideally unionize.
