Good... It wasn't needed and it was only for standalone products anyway. It would only serve to confuse customers. I do believe Microsoft should tweak the Windows 10 branding with the Sun Valley 21H2 update.3 points -

What are you talking about? As an example, if I am in London and something major happens, I want/need to know about it rather than finding out via Twitter or the Daily Mail. I thought this was already in place though. Everyone with a mobile phone got the emergency SMS when the country went into lockdown in early 2020.3 points -

SpaceX Super Heavy and Starship updates
+Warwagon and one other reacted to Astra.Xtreme for a topic
Sorry, but I trust his expertise more than yours... But again, the design and capacity decisions are FAR from final. You'd have a point if the rocket was on the pad and 100 people were suiting up, but obviously we're nowhere near that point. Take a chill pill for another couple years, and then cast a more relevant judgement. Youtubber speculation is laughable, at best.2 points -

Nreal sued by Epic Games for sounding like 'Unreal' [Update]
dustojnikhummer and one other reacted to Tuskd for a topic
What's next? Mikerosoft ? MikeRoweSoft vs Microsoft is actually a pretty old case, but at least Mike had the interesting defense of having used his actual name for the company. In this case, there's not much to fault Epic for. Trademarks require defense or they may be lost, and Nreal selling virtual environment-related stuff with a name they started using almost 20 years after Epic did is pretty clearly stepping on their trademark. And Nreal sounds very, very close to Unreal. Hell, depending on your accent it might be the same word And why should that even matter? They're two different products. Unreal Engine is available for MR applications. Nreal has an MR game called Nreal Tower. As mentioned in the last paragraph of the quoted lawsuit, there is overlap. Epic had already sued in 2018, but I believe the terms of the settlement might have been to use the Nreal name only for the hardware.2 points -

so what's your point? That they are spending millions on development of this things as a PR stunt? Maybe it won't carry 100 people to Mars on it's first trip and keep them alive, maybe it'll carry 10, maybe, and mostly likely, it'll carry no one and send multiple supply and test missions first. The idea behind it already miles ahead of what Nasa are doing with the SLS and the capsule on top of that.1 point -

Mr Singh reacted to astropheed for a topic
Either you're an Nreal employee, or worse, they've hired someone exactly like you. Unfortunately for both of you, the actual law is different from what is in your heads. Why don't you read the 1995 Federal Trademark Dilution Act? Gee someone on the internet doesn't know everything about everything so now is my chance to be a complete ass. Get over yourself. Even if I'm wrong there are far better ways to communicate it. What do you even hope to achieve speaking like that to someone? Are YOU an Unreal Employee? If doing something different, with a slightly different name, to a common word in the English language is grounds for trademark dispute, then the trademark system in america is BROKEN. It doesn't mean this lawsuit isn't ridiculous.1 point -
WSJ: Bill Gates left Microsoft board during probe into inappropriate relations with employee
matthiew reacted to derpityderp for a topic
He engaged in improper behavior based on his position of power. Many companies require that employees report all relationships to avoid corruption and mishandling or people getting the upper hand. He was in the more powerful position and chose to have sex with an employee, that's why he faces the greater consequences.1 point -

Brony reacted to Malisk for a topic
I think the big news here is Dolby Atmos support with equipment supporting it. Lossless audio will probably not really be perceptible compared to AAC @ 256 kbps, several blind tests have been made that confirms this. But obviously 3D audio is something else.1 point -

In correct. If you are cheating the most loved one is clearly yourself, not others. That is sad really. 😥 In any case, everybody could ask for a divorce so the excuse to be chained in a loveless marriage is weak. Also, some people excuse the YOLO and "I have right to be happy", to act like douche. It is so hard to do the right thing?. Anyways, Bill Gates will make many lawyers happy, and rich. He did it, he screwed it, and he got caught.1 point -

Cheaters are scum, no matter if they are adult or not. If you cheat, then you are backstabbing your most loved one, what's left for the rest of the people that worked with Bill Gates?.1 point -
