  1. What good came from this? And what was the harm in the original order? The good is that it's a fair order. The harm in the original is that it was a knee-jerk reaction be a trolled idiot.

  3. Intel Macs will not support some of macOS Monterey's new features

The trouble/concern/trick is Apple's history of not supporting devices and saying it is a hardware/generation limitation, when it is a flat out lie. Siri won't work, because, "we are making crap up and want you to buy a new phone." I would have some frame of respect if they just told their customers the truth. "We aren't supporting Intel Mac, cause we want you to buy our ######. So ###### off Intel Mac owners."

  4. My understanding is that FIFA hasn't changed in years, so does this mean the hackers just got the updated player stats? It sucks about the Frostbite engine though, but I'm not sure what someone could do with the stolen code? Would they be able to create their own engine? Or create a game using the Frostbite engine? Wouldn't they be caught the moment the game released?

  5. Such a great and privacy and health-focused company... /s If it thinks you're using a fake name at the time of account creation, the account automatically gets disabled and it wants you to perform account verification by identifying pictures of friends when you have not gotten a chance to fully set up the account... It also asks for an ID that shows your face and complete name when it already has information about you even though you have not used Facebook before... I created a new account to "undo" the blocking done to my previous account by some people so I have control of blocking accounts instead of them... Starting fresh makes you think you will only have posts from people that have added you as a friend however I am getting recommended posts or posts from accounts I may have interacted/reacted with their content using my old account... Just like the WhatsApp situation of other people I still had to create a new account for this seems to be the only way to communicate with some people that I know and I have lost track of their contact numbers... Facebook is trying to be like Apple when they know very well they can never be... Both Facebook and Apple collect data about its users... The difference: Facebook collects information even of those non-users and sells them to 3rd party for profit and ads while Apple keeps the data to themselves and only collects data of users of its devices and services... I don't know if there would be anyone using the watch/tracker by Facebook but I for one will never buy it...

  8. Intel Macs will not support some of macOS Monterey's new features

But of course! How could they?! Those functionalities are written directly in assembly, there's no way to make any of them work in anything other than ARM! /s Seriously, are they saying that a fully specked Mac Pro is unable to perform OCR (I guess, that Live Text thing) or render the darn globe and detailed cities in Maps? Yep, big set of balls they have, some courage. I'm between 🤣 and 🤦🏻‍♂️ and ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (thinking, yeah, it's Apple) and 🤬 because WTF man...

  9. Microsoft details workaround for Xbox Game Pass installation errors

I had to do this the other week. I really dont understand why in 2021, all the programs that use the windows update service can't just apply the fixes automatically... It has been a known issue since 2019 and the accepted answer on MS site tells you to do this.

  10. Intel Macs are legacy now. Apple are known for optimizing their products like crazy and they can't do that properly on different configurations (look at windows). Nonsense. Windows on an Intel mac runs as well (if not better) as macOS. When you talk about different Windows configurations you mean thousands, many of them stuffed with cheap hardware. Don't tell me that Apple can't optimize this new macOS for just a few Intel macs they have in the market, supposedly with good hardware. They simply don't want.

  13. Do you have a China trap stamp on your lower back or something? Why would you care if it's good for China or not? We should be doing things because it's advantageous for the US right? And why exactly should anyone be doing anything that favours the US, which has proven can't be trusted! I'm not an American, but I would be a bit disappointed if Biden, President of the US, wasn't doing things that attempted to favour the United States...

  15. I love the fact they dropped all this Game Pass and xCloud news now and didn't talk about it at their E3 event. Should hint that they're going to have quite a lot of game specific stuff to show. As far as the above, all solid. xcloud app coming to SmartTVs is a natural progression of the service. Also as far as the new sub offerings bit, they're probably going to offer a xcloud streaming only tier for game pass. Best way to draw in people who only have a smartphone and a smart tv but not a gaming pc or a xbox console. It's a shame they're not expanding to more markets quicker though. I still can't try xcloud in my country though I get the rest of game pass. The goal for a new exclusive every quarter is huge to, and some are saying that it's hinting at even more studios/developers being bought in the future. You have to keep feeding Game Pass with content to keep the user base growing.

  19. * China: Our nuclear weapons are pointing at you, Biden. https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202105/1224773.shtml And the answer or Biden: * Biden: Orange Man Putin is guilty. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/04/1...tes-actions-against-us.html In short, even if China is not guilty to manufacture the virus, it is still guilty not to warn us, it is their duty and failed on purpose (literally, the RPC lied), spreading the virus across the globe. https://www.theatlantic.com/id...-and-avoiding-blame/608332/ Anyways, Biden is talking about democracy, China is not a democracy. Biden, your turn!. Literally, every dollar spends in a Chinese company controlled by the RPC, is a dollar that could be used against us (against us and the democracy that Biden preaches). China is in an economic war against the US and Europa (it is a matter of fact because it is happening right now) and it's purchasing back and forth companies across the globe and kicking out US and European companies, then cutting the supply channels and leaving it us out of the economic game. For example, the chip foundries. Instead, we could care less about Crimea where over 60% of the population is Russian descendant and they elected democratically to move out of Ukraine. Also, Biden calls Putin a murder, the pot calling the kettle black. And how it affects us?. TSMC is the big guy manufacturing chips and it's in Taiwan, if Taiwan falls, it would be a disaster in the technology market. Then, we have India, India is also an allied and powerhouse in the technology world and China is threatening India and it also could affect us. Also, we have South Korea, China is arming its enemy North Korea, so the relations are tense at best, and South Korea is another big guy in the tech world. And the relations between China and Japan are not in the best shape, the government of Japan paid companies to move elsewhere but China. IMHO, it is not fair to hate the Chinese people but it is different from the government, China is ruled by a tyrant.

Microsoft never asks anyone anymore about what crapware they want to push into Windows 10. The only OK thing about the News toolbar is the Weather showing in taskbar. Personally I would have just wanted that, and not all the news stuff they added.

  22. Intel Macs will not support some of macOS Monterey's new features

Suuuure they have. That's why Apple is holding back features to try and push people to buy new "iPads with keyboards" that can't even do what the previous generation of Apple laptops can still do... https://www.macrumors.com/2021...mac-revenue-growth-q2-2021/" rel="external nofollow">https://www.macrumors.com/2021...mac-revenue-growth-q2-2021/ "Apple's Mac category brought in $9.1 billion in revenue, up from $5.4 billion in the year-ago quarter. As for iPads, Apple saw iPad revenue of $7.8 billion, up from $4.4 billion in the year-ago quarter. The ‌iPad‌ saw its highest March quarter revenue record in nearly a decade, and the last three quarters have marked the best Mac sales ever. According to Apple CFO Luca Maestri, "more than half" of the sales of Macs and iPads during the quarter were from customers who were new to the devices and had not previously owned one. The second fiscal quarter of 2021 covers sales of the new Mac and ‌iPad‌ devices, covering sales of the impressive new M1 Mac machines that include the 13-inch MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac mini. ‌iPad‌ and Mac sales could continue to grow even more in the coming quarter following the launch of the new ‌M1‌ iPad Pro and iMac models." $9.1 billion in revenue, up from $5.4 billion fuelled by the update of new M1 powered Macs - this is just a quarter - not annual. Sorry to reply with cold hard facts. This must hurt you a little bit. The cold hard truth is that it's not really hard to top previous figures when the entire line was all but abandoned and in the sales crapper, mate. Now, putting aside the surely unbiased "MacRumors" (ahem) here's the complete data for you, regarding Apple's whopping 7% of the PC market... Gartner Says Worldwide PC Shipments Grew 10.7% in Fourth Quarter of 2020 and 4.8% for the Year https://www.gartner.com/en/new...oint-8-percent-for-the-year My only agenda here is to point out how Wall Street Controlled Apple is ripping people off in the post Steve Jobs age. It's not personal at all for me, mate. Seems like it might be for you though. The figures are correct, whether you like it or not. MacRumors is simply quoting the financial information Apple reported at the end of Q2. They are not fabricated. Apple's percentage of the " global computer market" is irrelevant. Their revenue on the other hand is very relevant as it shows Mac shipments are drastically increased year on year.

  30. Remedy's Control is free to claim on the Epic Games Store

Nope. EGS is PC cancer. Remedy is lucky they got my money after having to wait a year with their EGS exclusivity BS. Remedy used Steam as free advertising in the beginning and then jumped when Epic threw Fortnight money at them. Again, they are lucky they got my support at all. I will say that Control was a great game and does deserve praise, but Remedy's shady business does not. Oh I don't know about that, Epic have given so many games away which is pressuring other stores to do the same, they also offer developers a better cut of 12% and are putting pressure on others to offer a better cut. If that's a cancer, it's a good one lol.

  32. They would have to be stupid to release a game using the code, but they could certainly use it to look for vulnerabilities. Secondly, while using the code directly would not be smart, a less than honourable developer could use certain elements that are good in their own software, benefitting their own engine/game. Leaving all jokes of EA quality aside of course

  37. Intel Macs will not support some of macOS Monterey's new features

Yup it sure does! Just as I'm sure the "neural engine" isn't just another Apple marketing trick trying to claim the inventing of something...aka Apple's kiddie version of a TPU. I remember when they lied about the PowerPC chips...before they finally had go intel. I remember when they lied about AMOLED displays on their phones...before they finally replaced their ###### LCDs (but only on the high end models!). I remember charging how many thousands of dollars for the same LCD panel in a monitor that Dell sold for 1/2 to 1/3 the price. I remember the Apple Pro Monitor Stand...yours for only $1,000. I remember all the hype over the (######, cheaper) glass used in iPhones and iPads...only to find that Samsung, etc. was using glass that didn't shatter with the slightest drop...until Apple finally caught up to their competitors on that "invention" too. I remember Apple stealing ideas and programs from their own independent software developers...without any compensation whatsoever. ...and so on and so on. :)

Even after the comments load into view and you scroll back up and click the comment bubble, it won't work. Funnily enough it does work if you click the comment bubble from the main page summary as a guest. So I am going with, it's a bug that affects guests and Tier2 subscribers, for now.

But wouldn't 6 out 8 be a big offset.. My panels do not by estimations cover my yearly usage either. But offset is offset.. Even if only 75% that should help in your yearly cost. And good incentive to reduce your consumption Even a reduction in cost of 75% of your what you use is still overall cost savings. Bills for 2 years before I put in I used about 11MWh each year.. My system is only estimated to produce like 8.5MWh per year.. While that is not 100% it is a big chunk of it..

Full HD is plenty on a phone as long as you aren't wearing it in VR goggles. 50. You're confusing crypto with PoW/PoST. For instance, Stellar (XLM) is an excellent PoS currency that needs to stay. Payments are instant and virtually free. And the carbon footprint is actually smaller than that of the VISA network. It's an *actual* alternative, not just made-up promises. https://twitter.com/noobient/status/1397871851817377792 XLM's volatility needs to improve though. But the USD-backed BUSD stablecoin is already available for anyone and it uses the Stellar network. The Euro-based EURB stablecoin is also on Stellar and is being deployed by SatoshiPay, but it's not yet available for retail users AFAIK. Ethereum is also going PoS by the end of this year with ETH2.
