Because? A Covid 19 vaccination passport and lockdowns were a year ago also conspiracy theories........ You do have a point, yeah covid vaccinations should not be mandatory They do not have a point. Lockdowns were never a conspiracy theory. "Vaccination passport" wasn't one either. In any case, even if some conspiracy came to be true now, that doesn't imply every word vomit conspiracy theory must be true. The one mentioned in the article is one such example. It makes absolutely no sense.11 points -

Having the vaccine does not mean you can stop taking precautions. An entire smaller care home with 15 fully vaccinated people got Covid-19 here. All of them. All of them had both rounds of the Pfizer of Moderna vaccine completed. Three of them were hospitalized, and 15/15 tested positive. So the myth that the vaccine makes you safe is just that, a myth. It might only prevent the most serious covid-19 side-effects, on some. But you can still get very sick. Also, just because you have the vaccine, you can still spread the virus to others who might not. The problem with the vaccine is that it makes people slackers because they think they are safe and untouchable...10 points -

mRNA therapies have been around for many years, and used in cancer treatments. My brother has been working with mRNA vaccines for at least the last ten years. True, this is the first widespread usage, but to say it's "based on methods that haven't been used before" is demonstrably false. Here is just one article. https://www.nature.com/articles/nrd.2017.2438 points -

The vaccine was fast-tracked, has been around for less then a year, and is based on methods that haven't been used before. It appears to effective at dealing with Covid, but telling people that the vaccine is perfectly safe is just plain wrong. No one, no matter their degrees or experience, could possibly know that.5 points -

Determining the manufacturer of your computer's RAM
+Warwagon and 2 others reacted to goretsky for a topic
Hello, Reading the At least some of its DRAM products are indeed defective, admits SK Hynix article made me realize that people might need a quick way to identify the manufacturer of the memory modules installed in their computer. While you can definitely find this out by opening up your computer to physically examine the memory, or by running a third-party utility like CPU-Z, it is not always convenient to open a computer to look inside, nor is it always possible to install third-party software. Also, if you are managing multiple computers, you might want to use something that's built into Windows and can be scripted. Although it is being deprecated, the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Command Line Utility (filename: WMIC.EXE) allows you to query the system for various types of information about the computer, including the type of memory installed in it. With that in mind, I came up with the following line to check the relevant information about a computer's installed memory. It can be run from a standard Windows Command Prompt (filename: CMD.EXE) : wmic memorychip get manufacturer, otheridentifyinginfo, partnumber, serialnumber, sku So what exactly does this command do? It calls the WMIC command with the memorychip alias (setting), and then to get the following properties from it: manufacturer - the manufacturer of the installed memory module otheridentifyinginfo - blank for the RAM I tested with, but may provide information partnumber - the part number of the installed memory module serialnumber - the serial number of the installed memory module sku - blank for the RAM I tested with, but may provide you with the SKU (stock keeping unit) of the installed memory module Depending upon the manufacturer of your memory, not all of these fields may be present. To see all the different properties available that you can query, issue the following command: wmic memorychip get /? Or, if you want to view them all: wmic memorychip list full If you do the "get all" query, you may wish to redirect the output to a text file, otherwise you are going to be presented with a lot of information. I love the fact they dropped all this Game Pass and xCloud news now and didn't talk about it at their E3 event. Should hint that they're going to have quite a lot of game specific stuff to show. As far as the above, all solid. xcloud app coming to SmartTVs is a natural progression of the service. Also as far as the new sub offerings bit, they're probably going to offer a xcloud streaming only tier for game pass. Best way to draw in people who only have a smartphone and a smart tv but not a gaming pc or a xbox console. It's a shame they're not expanding to more markets quicker though. I still can't try xcloud in my country though I get the rest of game pass. The goal for a new exclusive every quarter is huge to, and some are saying that it's hinting at even more studios/developers being bought in the future. You have to keep feeding Game Pass with content to keep the user base growing.2 points
