Next it’s just enough pressure to crack a human skull, with out using any extra battery power.

Exactly. I heard someone complaining about it with a possible lawsuit saying they knew how to make it more addictive for people etc. personally I agree with you as while I never played it, I doubt I would think much of it. but then again, in general I don't play video games anywhere near as much as I once did as about the only time I play now is to replay a game I liked a lot years ago which is a very small amount of games as to play a game I have not played before, that's getting fairly rare now as there is simply not much that even perks my interest to play it in the first place.

People love these things! Are you an audiophile? You seem to have some strong opinions about this. What headphones would you recommend? People love Bass. Beats provides that. Hence, people will continue to buy it. People love that logo too. Beats have been historically optimised for hip hop music with high bass and high trebble. Those are very uncomfortable frequencies when you listen to other types of music.

"The headset also has Apple's H1 chipset, so it supports audio sharing with other Apple H1 and Apple W1 devices, making it possible to watch videos or listen to music together with someone else." Back in my day we called this Bluetooth. It's part of the standard, and all desktops supported it. Now it's some proprietary ###### and you can only use it with certain devices and certain brands. How stupid.

Great search engine. We’ve now made it the primary search engine at our company with over 300 employees and we’ve not had a single complaint.

So what are good alternatives, for the features and the price?

No one cared when these things were called Google Home. Google has been basically giving them away for free any chance it can get. This smart speaker market isn't hot, at this time anyway, or it might never be. Regardless, these are basically re-branded v1.5 Google Home Minis. wait, wut? Google benefits when they practically give away their smart speaker listening device. To say no one cares, or that the market isn't hot right now. You might want to...Google...that next time before you repeat it. I mean, look around you. That stuff is stocked because it's moving. It's a near 4 billion dollar a year market split between a few major players that's projected to grow 10 times its current size over the next 5 or so years.

Agreed, he acted horribly. Some serious re-training is in order department wide, including extended time on tactical ranges. The sad thing is many licensed civilians spend more time on the range, including tactical ranges, than some cops do. Some shoot 1-2 mags at paper 7 yards away then don't practice again for a year or more (their next re-cert).

Since these are manual and not automatic I don't bother with them unless I have a issue that's fixed. If all your stuff is running fine then just wait till next month and the automatic update.

still wouldn't make the higher spec models worth the price though as the low end models would perform just as well as it's all on internet speed. Unless for a better screen, and or better networking. but yeah, you're right.

Is it just me? I don't like the Nest Brand. I think this stuff should be 'Google' I think that average consumers don't understand that Nest is Google. I think that Google should be promoting Google with their branding.

This is why I like waiting before buying games, I get to buy the gold edition of a game and not a beta version of it and for less money to boot

The Stadia logo by google looks half-alike of that pre-existing Brand Logo from Vicinity Centres - a Shopping Centre Group / Chain / Brand here in Australia. Their branding logos are prominent on most of their shopping centres and utilize a full ribbon... Google Stadia looks like a downsized and simpler version of the Vicinity Centres logo.

Attackers exploit an iTunes zero-day to install ransomware https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2019/10/attackers-exploit-an-itunes-zeroday-to-install-ransomware/?comments=1 Something to take a way from this is if you've had iTunes but uninstalled it, check to make sure Bonjour still isn't hanging around in and if it is, uninstall it.

Firefox no longer loads userChrome.css or userContent.css by default improving start-up performance. Users who wish to customize Firefox by using these files can set the toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets preference to true to restore this ability. Do that first in about:config

As an RSP, we would love to make it cheaper, but the NBN margins are SHITE! Side note, NBN isn't a guaranteed service. If it were, 75 bucks would be a bargain

What an incredibly callous attitude, obviously you've never had to deal with hardship, probably live a cushy life. Count yourself lucky and don't judge others based on a couple of sentences.

I know exactly what I said, but thanks. I am calling out people who try to run away from responsibilites or hide from responsibilites. Maybe in 2019 we should coddle such people and let them off, bail them out and say "There there" because that's what they deserve? Nope, I consider those to be scummy actions and they deserve nothing beyond the agreed outcomes when they got into said debt. Ignoring a bailif is bloody stupid - you engage them, work on a payment plan and get yourself either out of debt or at least have it managed at an agreed rate. People generally know what happens if you ignore debt collection agencies, bailifs, court judgements and so on - in the UK (and he uses a £ currency marker) it's not exactly easy to get into debt without agreeing to a credit agreement, so ignorance is not any form of excuse. Advice isn't what he wanted, he says "keep ignoring" which means that he has already ignored them, which in turn means he will have already received paperwork that gives the correct advice as to what will happen - as well as advice on how a resolution may be attained. He says that he is in debt, he says they have knocked, he says that he has ignored them with no answer "every single time" - so we are talking multiple instances. His question is really "How long am I going to get away with this". No, that's not a scummy thing to do at all, right? Hey, if you don't like it - report me, the process is there if you feel I have personally attacked him (which I deliberately have not). I called PEOPLE who take such actions "scum", HE can do what he wants, I've called HIM nothing. The strongest thing I levelled at HIM was "Grow up", which is utterly valid.

What a harsh way to convey your opinion. There are circumstances that happen and people simply can no longer make those types of payments and need time to get back on their feet. You never know what someone is going through behind closed doors. Have some compassion and be a little more positive and you might actually help this person through these tough times.
