All this communication complaint stems from the entitlement these days. 30 seconds late on announcements and there is a public outcry. Occasional silence makes an article. Don’t get me started on releases. Release updates too often? Whining. Too soon? Whining. A little later because they want to fix the too soon? Whining. Allowing upgrades to install that could cause problems? Whining. Blocking upgrade installs that could cause problems? Whining. Not verbose enough errors? Whining. Never mind that Windows is one of the most verbose. Bugs, whining. Now this one is valid; if only we could find the unicorn known as bug-free software releases....

Wonder how many cities Russia and China leveled with nukes. Also kind of curious to know the number of illegal wars they have going on right now. How many coups? How many military bases? How many civilian deaths? How many brainwashed fools spouting propaganda...

Looks cool for browsing images and videos, but absolutely terrible for actually managing files. Hard pass.

Considering windows is mainly on desktops and close to non existent on tablets, NO!! Most of the app refreshes for windows 7 were quite good. 8 and 10 did not bring too many apps that combined functionality and design. And as far as I can see this one sacrifices functionality for design. If you want existing productivity users to flock to mac and linux, this is a great way to achieve that goal.

I'm wondering what the lifespan of that non-removable battery is charging it that fast?

That all fine and dandy if the US wasn't spying on us so as they are all spying on us, I'm going to buy from who delivers the best product at the best price. At the end of the day, we all know that a lot of countries are spying on us, including the US, I don't like it but that just the way it is and I'm certainly not going to ban a company like Huawei because the US government feels under threat from China growing power around the world which is what this is really all about.

"I don't like it therefore it sucks" Ok buddy. I use overlays for media apps all the time but yes you speak for everyone. If you find it annoying have you ever considered just not using it?

I hope they will do the same with celebrity advertising and endorsement on media. For example, famous people talking about the qualities of a product that they aren't even tested because it is also fake review.

That's terribly written. YOUR computer isn't ready, but there's nothing for you to do. Should read something like: OUR update isn't ready for YOUR configuration and we'll let you know when we've fixed it.

There is NO proof found Huawei spying and for NO brainers, for god sacks and trolls, Huawei is a private company, NOT branch of the Chinese government and There is solid proof CIA, NSA spying on American citizens, and 5 eyes countries spying on the universe.

"I don't like it therefore it sucks" Ok buddy. I use overlays for media apps all the time but yes you speak for everyone. If you find it annoying have you ever considered just not using it? where did he say he speaks for everyone? Do people have to put a disclaimer saying: "the views expressed above or below are my own and not to be construed as an implied statement that said views are correct for all people"? Good grief, learn to step back and just accept some people write their own opinions and leave it at that. The default position should be that statements are opinions, and only when people use the (increasingly used and stupid) "no one likes" phrases can we then argue "you don't speak for everyone". with a blanket statement like that it's definitely sounding like he's speaking for everyone ...

Dude. Just make them thicker figure out your heat issues and resolve them. Throw in the old keyboard that people loved, just keep the specs updated and maybe add a better webcam. Boom, people buying Macs again. There's no sense in updating a design that isn't inherently beneficial. The best that they might save on is material costs... but given all the issues they've had, I can't imagine they're profiting as much as they could be, especially when people are holding off from buying...

Meanwhile, neckbeards in forums are still muttering between heavy breaths that everybody should be rooting and just have "common sense" and they'll all be fine.

So just buy things like iphones, where everything is manufactured in China anyway? China probably has more design and development that 10 times what the USA does these days, just look at their 50 year old Boeing 737MAX planes that they are still trying to flog as new, and are falling out of the sky!

FedEx will probably have a press release saying that they apologize and it was a misunderstanding, just to kiss on the back the customer affected. Unbelievable!

The Windows-10 problems just keep coming and coming, apparently without end. It just makes Windows-7 look that much better, even though quite old. It makes very doubtful that MS will hold to its originally stated "drop dead" date for Windows-7 updates in 2020. After all, with its much-flawed OS, how can MS afford to stop supporting a good reliable and solid OS?

Doesn't look particularly bad to me if there's isn't going to be a 19H2 update - one massive update per year that takes ages to install, brings its own new set of issues each time, seems to reset lots of Windows 10 tweaks/settings that then have to be re-done, and gives everyone yet another version of Windows 10 to support is more than enough!

They'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they didn't. The communities behind the previous Flight Simulator games are massive (same as the old Microsoft Train Simulator and newer non-Microsoft train sim games).

Just another reason not to buy Chinese rip off phones... As a consumer, I will buy whoever delivers the best and I don't care if it's a rip off product or not as long as the product is of good quality, after all, it's not like companies care about our well being, why should we?

Thank you. I actually find his articles like this extremely pathetic. Reminds me of when Paul Thurrott wanted everyone to boycott Internet Explorer (7 or 8 can't remember which) because he didn't get access to a certain build and complained so much that Microsoft actually invited him for a face to face about it where he then bragged about that. When people cry like babies to get what they want, it's sickening. Pure laziness on their part. This article reads like it was written by a YouTube drama queen.

Sure, Microsoft doesn't always communicate effectively about changes in its plans. But at the same time, they owe us no information about unreleased products. With the respect to 19H2, it seems you are overreacting to what we've known all along to be a minor update. Honestly, the "outrage" you project comes across as being a convenient excuse to rehash all of these perceived past transgressions for the sake of yet another dunning essay. It's not a good a look as you think.

How about they just drop it altogether and stop wasting time and money. Lets be honest, most children don't "accidentally" come across porn, they search for it and with the ever increasing tech-savvy generations avoiding regional blocks is not going to be difficult for them. Where would they even draw the line, half of the popular girls on twitch are borderline pornographic, kids are probably more likely to accidentally come across nudity on twitch than "accidentally" visit a porn site, do we need to block all streaming sites too? YouTube? Instagram? etc, etc. This will be as ineffective as the failed warez "blocks" the government has already wasted millions on. The UK government has much more pressing issues to attend to, how about doing that instead of interfering where they're not needed.

I'd rather see MS focused on technology instead of getting woke. Let Bill and Satya help anyone they want to using their own paychecks.

Most of them are refugees because their home country is a mess caused by religion or culture (or both). So it makes sense to help them so they could start anew. However, if they are carrying their religion or culture, then they are moving the problem instead of solving a thing.

You are in the wrong bit, this is fast ring release, nothing to do with the public release and if you are getting issues its with 3rd party drivers and it does say before you update to unplug any external storage. Please read the instructions and not just click next, next, next, finish.... OMG its broke.
