Tim Dawg Posted May 25, 2011 Share Posted May 25, 2011 Hey guys, I have an iPhone 4 thru VZW and have wireless tethering available. No matter what I do the tethering is just horrible. It's like 0.5kb/s or 1kb/s or sometimes a little higher. It's pathetic. I've tried the wireless and bluetooth and both just plain suck. I've tried various locations and I always have a strong signal. I've also made sure I go through and kill any apps running on the iPhone. Does anyone know anything about this? I'm out of ideas and really frustrated with this "feature". Incidentally I also have a Verizon USB aircard and it works flawlessly from the same testing locations so I know it's not a signal problem. It's definitely something with the iPhone.
