Axel
Hi, I'm trying to use a piece of software called photolapse and the issue I am running into is that the photo's I have taken are named as such: image_1 image_2 image_3 .... image_99 ... image_110 etc. The software organises the files like so: image_1 image_10 image_100 image_101 ... image_2 image_20 etc. This means they are entirely out of sequence. Any suggestions on how to solve this. I'm not sure how I would batch rename to image_0001 etc.? Many thanks, Alex
0 +BudMan MVC Posted May 26, 2011 MVC Share Posted May 26, 2011 Pretty much any batch renamer should be able to do that for you. example of one http://www.den4b.com/?x=downloads&product=renamer There are a plethora of them available for FREE, quite a few most likely listed in the neowin freeware list. https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/934274-freeware-alternative-list/
0 Axel
Cheers - appreciate it! I assumed I'd be too thick to work out the relevant rules but it was fairly straight forward! :)
Question
Axel
Hi,
I'm trying to use a piece of software called photolapse and the issue I am running into is that the photo's I have taken are named as such:
image_1
image_2
image_3
....
image_99
...
image_110
etc.
The software organises the files like so:
image_1
image_10
image_100
image_101
...
image_2
image_20
etc.
This means they are entirely out of sequence.
Any suggestions on how to solve this. I'm not sure how I would batch rename to image_0001 etc.?
Many thanks,
Alex
