Issues with Flash

Question

Running Windows 7 64-bit. Installed the latest version of flash and now anything having to do with Flash is freaking out. I've uninstalled; removed Macromed directory and re-installed but issues still persist?

Am I the only one???

give an example of some site that freaks out..

Im currently running for all browsers other than ie9, and as well for ie9

You have version 10,3,181,14 installed

on w7 x64 sp1

And I'm not seeing any issues with flash what so ever, its been on that version for what a week now.

How does it freaks out? Because there might be "new" nVidia drivers fault... Since 275.27 half of flash video players cant run full screen on my main monitor (i get black screen with some wierd line on top) while they work on my 2nd monitor normal (if i move browser to 2nd monitor and full screen them there). For example youtube flash player works, imdb flash player have issues... Since youtube works im just waiting for new drivers, otherwise i would freak out as well :)

Today new nVidia drivers (275.33) and new flash (.16) and my issue is gone, so try new versions! I dont know what exactly caused issues for me since i installed both at same time and didnt checked in between :)

I'm using an IBM AIO ThinkCentre M90z with an onboard Intel GPU. Any site with Flash "freaks out". And by "freak out" I mean that any flash video; no matter where it's located on the actual web-page will play on the upper left hand corner of the page and it will not be smooth; choppy video and audio.

Latest flash works fine in Firefox; IE9 is the problem at the moment...

And when I say any page with flash; I mean "any" page with flash be it videos or ads. The ones that I remember are msn.com; and youtube.com.

Edit:

Problem has to be with my computer as my wife is running Windows 7 x64 w/ SP1 and the same version of flash and she's not having any problems. I guess I'll have to start uninstall stuff to find the culprit!

you said you uninstalled. However, I suggest you get the flash uninstaller, and run that (Flash is so good that adobe had to write an uninstaller outside of the program) http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html from thr adobe site. Make sure that all your browsers are closed before running the uninstaller from adobe and then reboot. once you do that, then try and reinstall. usually fixes the issue
