0 Wakers
I guess that MSE won't work due to it being a server OS? I used to run it before Windows 7 came out as a workstation - I think I used Avira but I may have had to perform something unscrupulous to get the free version working on the Server edition of Windows. 0 deep1234
I just searched google, and I got this link. Apperntly the MSE can be installed but, no offical support also not recommened.

Apperntly the MSE can be installed but, no offical support also not recommened. Yep, I'm currently running Forefront End Protection Client evaluation software (same as MSE) and I'll probably end up installing MSE when Forefront stops working :p Edit: They both use the same engine and definitions, so it's really a no-brainer. 0 articuno1au
You are running Windows Server on an Atom.. You ought be shot sir.. Shot I say.. My recommendation would be MSSE if you can trust your brother not to be a retard and install stupid stuff. It's running fine on 3 installs of Server 08 R2 on my servers. I only use it for when we do file transfers from outside the cluster, the rest of the time it's turned off >.<

I call it a cheap server ( modified the WHS V1 to make it as 2003 standard edition as possible. ) (removed all the Windows home server software components) I host my personally website/forums/php/mysql/ftp/ and its a massive file storage system as well as my backup center for all my pcs. I'm only breaking the entire EULA but what ever. I'll use it how I see fit. and having WHS as OEM is the cheapest server software around.
