ady199
Can anyone please tell me what the best software is to stream HD videos (720p/1080p) from my PC to an Internet TV?? I have tried many variations but I haven't found one that give's good quality output to my TV I've tried TVersity to my Xbox 360 & direct to my TV (quality not bad but not brilliant) I've tried PS3 Media Server to my Xbox 360 & direct to my TV (quality not bad but not brilliant) I've also tried the Samsung PC Share Manager (TV is a Samsung LED 7020) - (The best quality of all of them, but still not brilliant) I have a BT Infinity network connection.................. (I know the quality will be dependent on my network speed) Thanks in advance

The quality should be whatever the source files are that you are streaming. Unless you mean the quality of the actual streaming itself, and if that is the case as you said that would depend on your network connection. jerzdawg 1 Share

I recently streamed a 720p video from pc to ps3 via media server and the video quality was near perfect. Are you using wifi or are both pc/ps3 on the same network? (to get the best quality) Thanks again All of my video settings are set to default with the most recent version, only settings i adjusted were audio. I will say this though, streaming 720p/1080p via wireless was very difficult for me with G speeds(router was only 60-75ft from laptop and ps3 was plugged directly to router), not sure if N can handle the bandwidth - what kind of wifi transfer speeds do you get? 0 DirtyLarry Veteran Posted May 31, 2011 Veteran Share Posted May 31, 2011 I think WiFi is the culprit. Can you try it wired and report back or is that not a possibility?
