1nteresting
Hello everyone, I have this motherboard right here, and I'm using the integrated audio. I have installed the audio drivers that came on the mobo disc, and I double checked and they are up to date. Why in the world does it add a crazy echo hall effect to all audio? It's super frustrating. I opened up the drivers and all effects are set to none. Thanks!
farmeunit
I've seen some that have reverb enabled on older systems. Might look at that. It's different from the effects. I haven't seen in a long time, though.
bjoswald
Open your Realtek Audio Manager application, then click the Environment tab, and make sure it's set to None. Also check Virtual Surround settings under the Speaker Configuration tab. Other than that, the only other options I could suggest is peeking around for karaoke, reverb, or virtual surround sound for headphones. You might have to check Windows' audio settings (speaker icon in system tray) for them, if they're not in your Audio Manager. Hope this helps! EDIT: Does this happen with every type of audio or from a single application? BoomerMary 1 Share
