I'm having trouble deciding which version I should stick with, pc or xbox, I have both, but am planning on starting over, and selling the other.

+/- for sticking with the pc version:

* xbox looks identical to my pc at the same framerate (well, it's lower rez but it's not a problem coz they redid the interface and it looks pretty much the same on a tv)

+ pc has a couple more features (difficulty slider etc) that xbox doesn't coz it's not been patched (although goty version will have that stuff in it)

+ I already have mw and addons so I wouldn't have to buy goty, although I can probably get it for around ?20, and waiting for it isn't a problem, as there's so much to do in morrowind already+> mods, although I've not found any that I've stuck with.+> texture resolution is[bslightly>[/b]> higher than it is on the xbox.

-> pc controls aren't as good as xbox's (imo it's more fun not having to sit at a desk)-> can't use a map prog at same time for locations, have to use the paper map -> can't chat to ppl on msn etc whilst playing -> can't play if I'm reinstalling xp etc-> with the xbox I can just stick in the disc and play

The fact that GOTY edition isn't out yet is not an issue, because I'm starting over by the time it's out I probably still won't have finished it, and can trade in the first xbox version towards it.

Keep it for XBox. Morrowind's experience is far better in front of my bigscreen than in front of a monitor. You can't exactly lay down and type, playing MW, now can you?

Only thing I can see wrong with the XBOX version is that you don't get access to the mods OR the expansions (You gotta get Platinum to play BM and Tribunal...)

XBox version is far superior.

PC, although there are some times conflicts due to drivers, and the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions that make it hard to cope with. LIke the ati and the via chipet cause bad things to happen in morrowind unless you use catayst 3.0 drivers.

xbox you dont have to put up with that.

but i still like PC better. :) just a matter of opinion though.

Wireless keyboard and mouse!

But I do agree, he would be missing out on the mods. I say stick with the PC, there are a lot of user add-on stuff for it.

I've not had either version crash on me before, so that's not an issue, oh and I have a wireless keyboard and mouse btw :p

Like I said, I'm not really bothered about mods, as the game has enough content itself.

I still say keep it for PC. It's probably more worth it since graphics do improve if you get better hardware. :)

Nah, I don't have enough interest in pc gaming anymore to bother upgrading.

1.4GHz Athlon, 1gig SDRAM, 64mb Radeon 8500 incase you're wondering.

Both the xbox and pc get between 25 and 30 fps, at the same draw distance (I checked it side by side with that pic snd using the fps optimizer)

Then just keep it for the X-Box. They are the same thing...whichever one you like more, keep! :)

I only played the pc version, but i wud prefer it that way anyway since i'm one of thsoe that flows into and otu of games requently, i rarely spend longer than an hour, 2 tops on a single game so therefore i need all my game sin the same place :p.

lol, I know most of you have said to go with the pc version, but I've actually decided I'm gonna stick with the xbox one. It's more fun playing with the controller, and on a big screen tv (tv out looks crappy, it's only s-video) but I'm too tempted to either create a mod to make the game easier in the construction set, or to cheat via the console :p
