"Happiness Is a Stochastic Phenomenon" was co-authored by David Lykken and Auke Tellegen. You are also using "change" with a broad brush stroke. This guy is talking about happiness. Nothing about this says remotely suggesting anything about the type of change when it comes to gays and reprogramming. Please forgive me if I wasn't specific enough, but the topic is about positive psychology and the science of happiness... btw, I wasn't the one that mentioned gays... In the case of Martin Seligman that includes his ridiculous claims that gays could be "cured." Also, this work is so derivative why bother?
