techquilla
i'm currently in my college dorm using the internet and i realized that i cannot connect to mIRC servers.., the error message says that NEtwork is unreachable.... so i guess my dorm has firewall preventing me from connecting.. is there a way to bypass that..? G0D
all ports were blocked at my last company except port 80, so I used cgiirc to connect to irc. http://cgiirc.sourceforge.net/ only "prob" is that you need a webserver (maybe you can run that on your own computer?) and install it, and from you workplace goto the webserver. with cgiirc you connect only to the webserver that hosts the script, and the webserver itself connects to the ircserver. So there is no direct connection from you to the ircserver cuzz the webserver acts like a proxy
