Opening a Browser

Question

Is it possible to open any other browser within other browsers ? Like for example Opera within Firefox just like IE Tab does. I know it is easily possible with Internet Explorer and has been for a long time but what about other browsers opening like this? Would be so cool but if there is a huge disadvantage of it please say or a reason for why it can't happen thanks.

Internet Explorer can be easily plugged into other programs as an Active-X control. But to implement other rendering engines would require implementing the full rendering engine into a single plugin. There are a few web browsers which implement more than one rendering engine (Lunascape for example), but it's impractical for an extension or add-on.

Unless you're a developer, why would anyone want this? It sounds like the ultimate goal would be to have the world's most bloated browser, which kind of goes against the trend of browsers these days...

Yep your right. That being said some do find a use of being able run IE in other browsers but yep it has a Active-X Control. Guessing that is for programs that use Internet Explorer as well sometimes too. Like when Steam use to and many other things. It is just nice to have more than one browser run in the same window. It makes it feel more like your only using a single browser. Yes there is nothing stopping anyone from using all browsers that exist separately but it can get pretty cluttered sometimes and difficult to keep track of which browser has what tabs.

It is not like you can name each browser window with a custom label.
