i just threw a pc together on my bench using some old parts laying around. but the board is freaking hot to the touch. just holding your hand above the open board and it is throwing off some serious heat.
it is not to the point of windows locking up or anything. I am just intrested in checking on the temps. In windows..
i have speedfan on it but i dont know how to make it show me anything useful. :(
and i just installed some cheesy app called cpu thermometer and it is not showing me crap either.
The setup is...
intel 775 mobo D0965GF is what it looks like. it is an old OEM board. they were bought in bulk some 7-8 years ago.
and the cpu is P4 3.00 GHz probably a prescott. I remember that they do run hot.
